This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

See! It's statements like that. They suck you in and before you know it, you're grabbing everything off ffn with Calibre. Then you have to start on TWCS and Twilighted! It's dangerous! People should be warned before they catch the fatal Calibre disease!

Yes. But the real beauty is when you get it all set up so that it pulls things like chapters, pages, ratings, summaries, etc... All nice and automatic. I still need to add whether I read it already or not and whether it is on my TBR list or not. I also have a Type of Edward and Type of Bella column. But it is slow work getting all those done. I don't think iBooks lets you do that.

Unfortunately, the Calibre Companion app isn't made for the iPad.

So, is there another way to get all my pdfs to Calibre (on my laptop) without having to email them all to myself?

Speculation is that it's David Cronenberg's daughter. He's the director of the movie Rob's filming. The picture is from when he was in Toronto.

*snerk* I even went so far as to buy the Calibre Companion app for my tablet, so that everything in my calibre is right on my tablet at the press the screen. still learning my way around that one.

Thanks for the info but I have a iPad so a no go for me. Oh well

I usually only get the free apps too. The only ones I paid for was with my gift card for Mother's Day. To bad the app sucked.

Shouldn't they sync into your iTunes? Once they are sync'd they are on your computer and can be added to Calibre.

Yeah, they *should* but I changed the way itunes handles downloads from automatic to manual and now I have no idea which ones I need to add automatically. I'd have to go through them all individually, ugh! It's been months of downloads since I've synced. I tried to change it back to automatic from manual but iTuns gives me a message that states that if I proceed everything will be deleted from my iPad. I'm afraid to do it!

Okay, this is really embarrassing. I was reading My Shiny Freak - a vamp fic that is a little on the crack fic side. Anyway, it seems Jesus is a vampire. That reborn on the third day? Yeah, you got it. A hippie vampire. Carlisle got him started on the vegetarian way of life, but he is still a little strange. He likes orgies. No one else wants to join him though.

So my Kindle just died by freezing on a page. A page where they are at Bella and Edward's wedding in Volterra. All of the immortals are guests, including Jesus. At right at the top of the page is the line "Jesus shouted "Orgy! Orgy!"'

Then there is something about Marcus who is drinking blood in a cup from Joe Jonas (he is a big Jonas Bros fan) They thought they were donating to a blood drive.

So this is being returned to Amazon. Yeah. Hopefully no one will be insulted by reading that some guy named Jesus is wanting an orgy.

Did I mention my Kindle died?
