That's sacrilege hun having not reading Dusty.
ONLY a thousand. Just wait until you've been here awhile. That number only gets higher.
Goodness, 4 pages in like a day...crazy talkers is so right.I listened to a part of the interview and did I hear correctly.....the movie is a trilogy as well? I did not know that but I'm not surprised.
Im dying to read that Whitney spoiler up above... but I'm trying not to give in!
Definitely NOT reading it.The hero Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents..
Demaris I have you now in goodreads. How did we all miss you before? I did lmao at one of your shelf names.Would-rather-stab-myself-in-the-eye.
DD that is in the definition a BR! A historical romance can't be one without that!!! I'll copy/paste the definition for you, again. Urban DictionaryTop Definitionbodice ripperAn historical romance where the heroine has lots of non-consensual sex, which becomes consensual. The book needs to have a gaudy cover with a woman with an extraordinarily long neck, heaving bosoms, and flowing hair, and a brooding man. Yeah, that shelf is for those stupid Abbi Glines-type books....read way to many of them last year.
lol. i dont know. there is the non consensual sex that is non consensual cause the heroine is afraid to lose her virginity before her wedding.... not that she doesnt want to be seduced. Several people on GR said it was Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents..GR is a fountain of spoilers
Last year I broke my 20 years BR embargo spectacularly (I was like a beggar in the desert) and there wasn't a single book in which the heroine wasn't 'taken forcibly'! I agree with you in regards to spoilers and as I hate them I rarely read them in my 'friends' reviews, I just look at the amount of stars they give a book.
which book was it?? that made you break your embargo
Hmmmm? I can't be definite but I think it was Whitney...... suddenly I'd inhaled all of McNaught's and when I was done with her I moved onto Johanna Lindsey, Lisa Kleypas, Kathleen E. Woodiwiss, I went Old School; and it was all Booked's fault!
Have you tried Julia Quinn? i really love most of her books. Light and funny reads. Havent read Kathleen Woodiwiss yet. She has a book named Shanna that is a nickname for vagina here. A bad one, like petal or something. It makes me cringe everytime. lol.You should read Julie Garwood, i LOVE her books. A lot better than Julia Quinn. But Quinns books were the perfect thing to read in between Outlander. to balance the angst. You can read her books in one sitting. You still havent added me on GR. im feeling like the fat kid that is not allowed on the mean girls table.
That's funny. I read Shanna it was my least favourite BR ever, didn't like the heroine silly bint. Ella gave me what for, for that opinion! Errr? Hello? Have we met? Light and Fluff? You know I don't do 'light and fluffy' if I can help it. I'm a triple A Starred AngstHoor!
You are not allowed to view links. Register or LoginI'm actually surprised the scene was in the movie to begin with!!! Very promising
REALLY To me Motu was one BIG WIP. I have no idea where Book 1 ended. Phewy !
Thank God for that, that scene just wasn't necessary anyway. [emoji85] If they had kept it, it would of been so cringe worthy to watch, no one can make removing a tampon sexy. [emoji13] [emoji13] I remember reading it as a WIP eons ago and it wasn't too bad reading with ye breaks in between. Book 1 ends with Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.Hope that spoiler worked as on Tapatalk atm. [emoji6] I found that book 2 & 3 could of been just one book instead of 2 as 1/2 the stuff in them were just filler. [emoji20]
As I read FSOG as P2P how much did she cut? Is it worth re-visiting as a FF? My BF wants to read it before the film comes out. I told her there are better examples of the genre in both FF and P2P but you know how people are......slaves to fashion/mainstream.
Gosh, what a day! Hardly slept bec i was worried the original visa will not arrive on time, shld i have ticket issued blah blah blah. Thank God it arrived this afternoon. And you know those days when you have set tasks for the day but suddenly your officemates realize you'll be gone so they start sending stuff for my approval, the boss asking me to do presentations, phone ringing off the hook . RDM, I don't go to the office as early as you but today i probably beat you for hours put in... had about 3 hours sleep, was at the office at 8 am, left at 9:15pm got home at 10:30 and i still hadn't eaten dinner.Plus, i still have pre-trip work to do tom. And oh joy, back to back to back meetings the whole 4 days am there. Only rest i will get is probably on the flight home. On the bright side, maybe all this stress and skipping meals will help me lose weight Never dreaded a work trip til now. Am flying Emirates, keeping fingers crossed...Almost 1 am now, hope i can get a good night's rest...my mind is still thinking of the stuff i need to do! Thanks for letting me rant, hrlps me de-stress a bit. Will read a couple chapters of Throttle Me by Chelle Bliss as am nearly done. Saw this in Loopy's GR and i like it so far. Some grammar/spelling errors here and there but tolerable. Good night, will probably still be around before i leave. Being here helps relieve my stress. Thanks for the laughs and well wishes, ladies
I read the published version from TWCS (don't know if the 2nd publisher changed anything), but with the exception of the name changes and eye color change for Christian, the ff is the same as the published version.
try to get an upgrade on Emirates. Definitely Worth it.
