heavy DDOS attack it came back friday for a short period and down again saturday and sunday

What I gather is it's like a massive spam attack by bots which eventually stop the site working properly.

But thank goodness Mr A knows what he's doing and got us back online.

I know! I was actually reading fanfics. With no one to complain to when the writer wrote stupid things.

Of course, the only one I remember was that she used queue instead of cue. Normally, it is the other way around. They have people standing in a cue. And if they don't know how to spell it correctly, why not just say they stood in line. But here, Jasper said 'that's my queue, I'm out of here'

Actually though, for a married in Vegas story, it was pretty decent. No fast "we just met but we're in loooovvvveeee"

Thanks Loopy - I figured it was something along the lines of a spam attack but its always wise to ask. Our spammer from a couple of weeks or so ago must have gotten annoyed and gotten reinforcements - he liked us too much? Its nice to be back. I was doubly annoyed today because Twilighted was down for a time too but now also seems to be back.

I missed all of the times PTS came back for a short while, it was even down again this morning, so I hope it is back for good. Thanks to Mr. A for all the hard work that helps us come here to chat.

I tried to find the backup facebook group but the link now says content unavailable or something, is the group gone?

Hi! Arrived home Saturday night. The summer heat, and PTS being down, were killing me. Fortunately, had no jetlag. Unfortunately, am back at work.

Was sooo hard gearing my brain to function again. Don't we all wish we were rich and never had to work again? Sigh....

I got an iPad mini!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now what!?! *ahahah.. How do I get my calibre to recognize it?? I need more books ASAP!

a little late but I have an ipad and I just downloaded the kindle app and and email the books to my send to kindle address that i have used previously with my kindle. If you use the same amazon email you did with your kindle all your books will be there ready to download. I could never get the ibooks/alibre/itunes thing down.
