This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

I have so many fics on my tablet right now that I've started and set aside for whatever reason. Sad thing is, any time I try to pick one back up, I have no idea what it was even about, so I start over, and inevitably make it just about as far in the second time, before putting it aside yet again.

I am getting better about skimming the first chapter before I DL though, and if it's full of errors or just juvenile feeling writing, I don't even bother.

We all know this is not going to be a literary masterpiece, but most of us will probably read it out of curiosity and knowing we don't have to suffer through the whole "inner Goddess" crap again (hopefully ), I definitely will be.

This one was never released as fanfic, was it? I don't remember seeing an Edward's POV anywhere. I wondered if she found it in her old fics draft folder, lol!

There are a number of outtakes in Edward's POV. Presumably she's using those and expanding on them.

I'm kind of torn. Watching the movie last week got me wanting to reread the series, as I haven't read it since they were first published (books, not fic), when they were first getting popular.

But I don't want to get bored before I even start Christian's POV. Like Loopy said, not wonderful writing, but damned if they don't suck you right in! I'm hoping it's the whole story in one book, rather than another trilogy.

SM is apparently writing a couple more books for The Host series, but she's taking her sweet a$$ time about it.

I've never read The Host, is it any good? There was a movie too...I think....maybe I'll just watch that.

I did read Fsog before the movie....and I know, her writing is not stellar but she is one heck of a story teller. You can't help but be sucked in. This might sound ridiculous...well there is no might about it.....but I preferred MotU......yes I know, only the names changed. I guess I felt a sort of closeness with E&B. I enjoyed the read for the third time. I guess I'll do it again when parts 2&3 come around, in 2016 & 2018. I hope those dates are wrong. I wonder if RP saw the movie he inspired....yes him not Edward. Wasn't he asked to play Christian?

Hope all goes well. My friend had the same issue and the D&C cleared it all up. She was out for maybe six weeks. The key to her recovery was rest.....she was in bed for at least 80% of the time. The minute you overdo things....you're back to square one....almost.
The crap we women have to endure.
Read.....you'll make a huge dent in your tbr list. Keep us posted.
