This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

I haven't purchased or read the FSoG series or MoTU, but from what I have heard there isn't any significant difference between the publish story and the FF edition of it other than the names, so I don't feel justified in spending money to read it, when I have the ff edition on my computer.

Ella, if you did end up getting the epub version of FSoG and changing the names, I would so be down for that. Hell, I would even volunteer to help you do it.

I'm back to studying for this stupid test. I didn't do so well on the last one, so I will give it another shot. But it is killing my reading and other things time.

Though I can update my Calibre Library LOL! It takes so long with all the slow downs FFnet puts in place....
1300+ stories and only 3 updates.....

I'm back to studying for this stupid test. I didn't do so well on the last one, so I will give it another shot. But it is killing my reading and other things time.

Good luck! Are you taking a bar review course?

I don't live in an area where I can easily attend a live one, so I'm using BarMax on my iPad which has a really good MBE review. And I have a bunch of review books. I'm also going through essays from about 15 years of bar exams. So lots of fun.

Having sat thru one, I have a good idea of what I need to study. My problem is my brain blanks too much.

Oh well.

The Summer is of to a great start, not.
I broke my ankle yesterday while being chased by my neighbours cows.

When I told the hubby his reply was: "At least it wasn't your nose this time!"
Which I suppose is a good thing, especially after my op on it.

I think we were talking about cow dreams, scary.

I was helping my neighbour's Grandson on their farm yesterday and something startled their cows so they started running towards us, so we decided to get out of the field as fast as possible and as we were running to get out I slipped and tripped over a molehill.

Poor Loopy, Attack of the Cows! My mom had to have surgery the other day for a detached retina, it seems to be a bad month for folks, health wise!

I'm almost finished with Distractions by Windchymes, and I've loved every bit of it. I think this is some of the best characterization for all the characters that I've read. Bella and Edward actually seemed to learn and mature while apart, the Cullens weren't over the top in any way, no "our sister, our daughter!", Alice was Alice, but not all knowing, butting in constantly, Rose wasn't a total and utter B, only to turn around and think Bella's the best thing since sliced bread, this whole thing has been great. Does this author have other works this good, or anyone know of any other fics in this same vein?

I understand her other one is really good as well. Forgetting the name. Something about a memento?

I also loved Bloodlines. Totally unexpected. But good.

Poor Loopy! Sounds like you'll have to deputize someone to run after toddlers, pets, etc. Your hubby may have to carry you around a bit as well. Take it easy so you can heal.

I'm reading Cara Dee's new book, she sent me a ePub of it so I could review it on good reads and iBooks and such. It's pretty good so far but a bit slow moving. It's an ARC.

I didn't realize it had Damien Lewis in it also. Hopefully it does well. Though it isn't my type of movie.

LOL! When it comes down to it, I only watch movies because my husband has them on.

Yeah - If I remember correctly he wasn't originally cast but it took so long to get to the actual filming that at least 2 people had to drop out - Naomi Watts left due to scheduling problems and Nicole Kidman replaced her. Jude Law had to drop out for the same reason and got replaced by James Franco and to be perfectly honest I don't know if he left before filming or not. I don't remember who Damion replaced.
