Yeah, watching that with my parents would be all kinds of awkward. It's funny, that after Mickey got his features rearranged he started getting more roles. His career had plateaued.....not too many jobs that I can recall. How's the gbaby? Hope everyone is adjusting well at home.
“short black hair that is shaped nicely around his heart-shaped head”Soooo, I'm trying to get a visual here and I'm coming up short. Anyone?!!??? I don't think I've ever seen one of those.....a head, shaped like a heart. Maybe I should just stop reading tonight and go to bed...I'm picking winners.
In case anyone cares, coldplaywhore is pulling her stories (date unknown). Supposedly it's due to bullying. Her latest story has already been pulled or axed and is in the index,
The last few years he seems to have got more roles that for sure.Morgan is doing well thanks hun, now that he is starting to put weight on. He was back in hospital when he was 4 days old as he had lost 1lb 7oz due to my daughter not be able to feed him properly, he's now nearly 5 weeks old and he's put on a 1lb (he has to go to the Dr's every 2 days to be weighed until he reaches his birth weight) and feeding better since my daughter has been put on medication to produce more milk.Otherwise he's fine and I'm constantly trying to stop Saxon from giving him to Dior to use as a doll.
I'm reading My Heart My Home by Edward's Eternal and enjoying it so far (I haven't noticed on this one, but her eye color changes usually don't bother me too much, since I know to expect it). I never knew that ta was slang for thank you, an Australian friend was teaching her kids to say ta for thank you, but I thought it was just cause they couldn't say the full words yet.Glad to hear the gbaby is doing good and that nursing is going better now.
I'm with you hun about the eye colour when I read EE's fics as I'm so used to Bella have blue eyes or something to that equivalent now. Don't think I've read MHMH, I'll add it to my TBR list. I still say Ta now sometimes instead of Thank you. Thanks hun, he's definitely doing better now.
My little man is 15 months, and trying to talk but words aren't really coming out yet, he loves to talk on the phone (or anything he holds to his head) and says something that sounds like da or ta when we give him things, so maybe he has been hanging out with some British babies and is actually saying ta for thank you.
Awww! He's 15 months already?! I guess that makes sense since CJ is 14 months [emoji5]️
I don't use Kindle Unlimited myself, but we talked about it several months ago, and how you need to "read" the whole book so that the author will get their royalties, now it appears Amazon is changing how they pay royaltiesYou are not allowed to view links. Register or LoginThey will pay royalties based on the number of pages of the book a person actually reads and they plan on using some sort of surveillance to determine if you spend the appropriate amount of time on a page. This article also mentions how authors might be able to use the data to determine where in a book people give up at, but that seems like a lot of monitoring.
Hopefully, this will put a stop to authors breaking books up into a bajillion pieces, to get the most of of the lends. I actually saw a serial today that will end up being 20 installments, with each installment only 20something pages! Insane! You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
My husband got pissed off at this practice. He reads sci-fi books and some writer was charging 99 cents a chapter and there were 79 chapters with no conclusion. He said for $7.99 he could buy a full book by a real published author of the same length. I will say my husband sucks at SPAG so he probably doesn't notice a lot of the errors. But I looked at the reviews for the one you have linked and one said something to the effect of if you are only going to write a chapter per story at least edit better.
Even if I didn't find the whole idea of busting up stories this way abhorrent, I'd still live in fear that I'd actually like something, and then, for whatever reason, the author wouldn't complete it. Then, you've sunk all this time (and money) into a story that'll never be finished. At least fanfic is free, and even then, I'll rarely do WiPs!
That's happened to me, there was an author last year (or the year before) who started a series and she never finished it. I downloaded what she released so far waiting for it to be completed before reading them, then she disappeared (I think this was probably due to bad reviews), I suppose I'm kinda glad that I never started the series but it's still annoying as I've got 7 or 8 of the books and know I'm never gonna read them.
What happens if you reread a book? Does it count? Someday, when I get tired of twifics, I might actually do that. Though there are a lot of free books out there.
I can't believe how much my kitty has grown! He is 6 weeks old in one pic and 6.5 months old in the second. I had no idea when I got him that he is part Maine Coon. According to my internet research, Maine Coons keep growing until they are roughly 18 months. Kind of scared as to how much more he will grow.
I'm gaining weight rereading drotuno's An Angel's Promise. Bella is always feeling wonton looking at Edward. I crave Chinese food.
