I'm being commanded to attend the FSOG movie with a friend who wants to see it. I'm afraid the lack of chemistry between the leads will ruin my future enjoyment of the books. While the books are not Shakespeare, they are a fun guilty pleasure, and I'd like to keep it that way.
Keep your eyes and ears open for news regarding the Berlin Film Festival next week. FSoG is being shown. Waiting for the reaction from festival attendees. Rob will be in attendance promoting Life and Queen of the Desert which are also being shown. This week he left for Budapest to start filming Childhood of a Leader.
Budapest is 2.5 hours away by train, too bad I don't have a good reason to go there.

I love Jamie (he's my baby ), I think he's hot but it's just not the role for him. I think he should do something darker but I'm probably thinking that as he's not long finished The Fall and that was a brilliant dark and gritty how. Jamie Doran is so hawt it's not even funny, scorching! .....And so is Charlie Hunnam but I think his body type is wrong for Grey, I imagine Grey to be all sleek, long, dancer-like muscle (Jamie) , whereas Charlie is more 'Yeah, I pump weights" muscle, which is all good but not Grey. And if the studio wasn't trying to grab every dollar they can from every movie-goer over the age of 15 they could have made FSOG 'darker and gritter'...which would have suited Jamie more...Still, before they cast him the likelihood of me watching FSOG was zero, now it's a definite download, at home, with a bag of popcorn.Loopy what film is that clip of Charlie from?
