Comes in........Stomps around.....Curses endlessly.....Throws the bloody DIA across the room.Goes and gets Voyager...F.U.C.K.
Enjoyed it that much, huh?
I am so glad I couldn't get into that story. I'm not really into torture. Even for a hot Scot in a kilt.
Honestly RDM, if DIA made you mad I'd say not to read Voyager.....I don't think you'll enjoy it any better.
As I posted on Goodreads. The beginning was a little confusing as it jumped forward by 20 yrs. Anyone remember how hold Brianna is?The middle - which caused 5 restarts, was absolute torture. Back to endless descriptive adjectives and lack of plot movement. The last 1/3, is how the book SHOULD be. But seriously, how can I not know what happens to Jamie at Culloden? I couldn't believe myself either. I told my mind, you barely made it through the 2nd book and you are seriously opening the third? So I read about 60 pages of 2262 !!.I know DD was floundering on Voyager. I need to learn how to skim. Demaris, what trouble am I going to get into on this?
Well....I'm not sure how much to say but remember how in ( what was the 2nd twilight book called again?) you were just looking out for when Edward came back? That's how I felt the first time I read Voyager, but this time it was about Claire returning...back....(is that saying too much? I'm on Tapatalk, I don't know, can you use spoilers on this app? Apologises if it is, I hate blinking spoilers!) It took a re-read to appreciate it properly and now I've read it 3 times...DIA and Voyager are my favourite after Outlander.
Welllllll shit. I can watch New Moon in 10 min. First 5 min, last 5 min.
Well then...when I get a moment I could just tell you which page to jump to? [emoji38] Because it takes a while to get to where you'd want to be...and funnily enough it was Jamie's perspective that I found difficult to plough through the first time around. But honestly, I'm really not sure you're going to like it...[emoji30] Of the 3000 or so pages it takes maybe a 1000 to get 'back' and the rest is....Adventure? I don't know how else to put it. Since those early ones were your favorites it makes me wonder if I won't like the rest of the series as much. I felt like things were fizzling out by the middle of book 4. The bit with the daughter just had me bored to tears. lol that's how I felt about new moon too! Don't even get me started on The Bronze Horseman. Their time apart nearly killed me!
Not. Touching. Those. Books. With. A. 100 foot pole!
