I've always wanted to read them but never got around to it. 
I'm not creeped out yet but now-a-days not a lot creeps me out.  :DI know Lifetime made some TV movies but I want to read the books before watching them as I think the films will probably skim over certain parts.
I think my Mum has a VHS (a what!?!  ) of FitA somewhere but as far as I know she's never watched it. 

Yeah I am not sure if it would creep me out now, but back then, yeah it did.

I can imagine that hun. I'm sure if I read the series when I was younger I would be a little freaked out about Cathy and Christopher's relationship.

We literally got rid of our VHS tapes and VCR last year after replacing them with DVD's and Blu-Rays.

If you think that's scary I have my Mum's old record players and a load of vinyls which I bought as a kid in my parents attic, I should get them down again one day and goive them a spin.

Me too? Why is that odd?  I came home the other day to find my mother watching SATC on VHS...I have the whole series on DVD ( god remember BETA Max?!) as well but my mother is all about VHS.  I have so much vinyl I have a travel truck to store it all unfortunately my turn-table broke but I have every intention of replacing it.

I've decided to take a little break from reading fics as lately it seems that for every 10 I read only 1 (2 if I'm lucky) is any good.
So I've decided to read The Dollagangers series by V.C. Andrews - I started Flowers in the Attic last night and I've nearly finished it already. I wanted to read this series before watching the films which were on Lifetime last week.

I'm with you, I haven't read a great fic in forever! Imagine? I chose to read a BR over the 10000s of fics I have in my TBR....*shakes head*
