This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Okay, here is a place to discuss what you are reading, ask for recommendations and complain about the writing.

Finished The All Souls Trilogy, and I just really didn't want it to end!!

Almost feel like giving it another read!!

I swear it is on my TBR list. I keep getting sucked into twilight fanfiction.

All the talk about Apple and Android? I am Android all the way. I was an apple fan but I had to re-format my 2nd gen ipod touch and none of my favorite apps would work because of my operating system. I was told I needed to purchase a new one. To say that I was pissed was to put it mildly. There was nothing wrong with my ipod after I re-formated it yet I had to buy a new one?! I thought that was uncool and a major money grab from Apple. I have 2 ipod touches, my 2nd gen and a 4th gen. Both work great. My phone I have the Samsung Galaxy S4. I haven't had it for very long and I am still learning things about it.

I think this is the longest I've managed not to read any fics - it's been nearly 3 weeks and I'm trying to make a dent in my TBR, but that's never gonna happen any time soon with the amount I've got.

But I'm going through a bit of a bad boy Ice Hockey phrase atm.

I have the S4 also. Love it. I have all my itunes music on it. I cant wait for my upgrade, so many choices lol

I had the S4, now got the S5 and love it though I wish I kinda waited another month or so as I like the sound of the Alpha.

Hope this You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login works for you hun, it sounds like the S series but just a little bit more better on most features.

It's had some pretty decent feedback as well.

Wait! There are stories that are not Twilight Fanfics?

Yeah, I don't have a lot of time to read, so I'm usually reading fanfics. Though I continue to buy and download non-twilight fanfics. Though I really don't spend as much on fics as I used to. Cookbooks, self-help, etc.... yeah.

I've been very happy with my Galaxy Note 3 - it is really big though. But I have a purse to carry it in. So not a big deal. It actually fits in my pocket, but it isn't comfortable to fit. I started with iPhones but switched to Android about 4 years ago. Won't go back. Though I am liking my new iPad Air. I had to get it for a class that runs off of apps only available on the appstore. I do like how I get to download to my Kindle from my Google Drive. So far Android doesn't recognize mobi as a format that it can use. If you bring it in through Kindle, it will read it. But it won't automatically open a mobi. The iPad gives the option of opening with Kindle. It's really nice.

I've been reading Toni Aleo's Assassins Series and she's now started a spin-off series (Bellevue Bullies) as well which I'll probably start after I finish.
I've had these on my TBR for ages but I never really thought of reading them, I've only kept them for the covers.

I think I might even start reading Jaci Burton's Play-By-Play Series as that's another lot of books I've not read them either but like staring at the covers of.

The Alpha does sound like a decent phone, I think that's the one my daughter wants to upgrade to when she can in December I might just have to think of a "Mother's" excuse so I can have it and she has my S5 instead.

That's the reason why I decided to have a break from fics as well hun.
It seemed like everything I was reading was boring/annoying me to the point where I wanted scoop my eyes out.

I've managed to read 10 books in 3 weeks which is a miracle as I normally only read about 2/3 a week normally.

So I'm hoping when I go back to reading fics I can find some decent ones and be able to read a few more than I normally would.

Lol, I know what you mean instead of work atm I've got our own zoo of animals (goats, dogs, cats etc) and 3 kids so in the day I get hardly any time to myself especially if I wanna come on here so I read at night when everyone else is sleeping.

I'm actually quite a slow reader (I seriously don't know why I've read so much lately

) but I suffer with insomnia so once I get my 1 hour sleep a night there's nothing else to do until the hubby and kids wake up, so I tend to read as the hubby gets really pissy if I wake him too many times during the night to entertain me.

Lol, if only I could get away with not doing housework I would.
But it's not so bad atm as I get the daughter's b/f to help (by help I mean do all of it

) on his days off, it's part of the agreement for him living with us.

I'm constantly re-reading previous chapters on quite a few of my WIPs especially over the summer holidays as it seemed that most of them were being updated after months of being left.

You and me both, I do other things like cook, work, shuffle the kids around, soccer mom to half the soccer team so I am not sure why i can't find the time to read maybe i need to manage my time better LOL

I would pay someone to do my housework, but I get anxious with the thought of having them in my house. So I do the bare minimum until it piles up and then I have to do it, or we have company so it has to be done.
