LOL. Doesn't pissed mean something different over there where you're from? I'm just sure you couldn't be grumpy with us over an angsty book! I have to admit that I can't remember what happened at the very end of this book. What happened with them at the very end? Oh dang! I think I just had a flashback of what happened! *&^*&%%$^%$!!!!! Yes, I'd be mad at us too. Just remember that strong feelings toward a book are in general a good thing when you're a member of the club! Give me a recap on the very end... Ella I'm glad to hear that you're surgery is over and you're on to the recovery part! Hope you mend quickly!
I finished If I Stay and it was good, but i didn't flove it like I had hoped... My thoughts: Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents. I feel like the whole thing was just "ok" but was setting it up for a REALLY great book 2. I'm a few chapters into Where She Went and really liking it so far. She is definitely a great writer. I think I was just expecting more after all the hype over book 1. Someone told me the movie ended in the exact same place. Yikes! That's rough. Did any of you see it? Did it really end with Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.
Thanks!I missed the show. I kind of figured he was over Kristen. But who knows. I know the Robstens will never like to hear that. And? Kristen could have walked out earlier to use the restroom and they played it just to cause drama.
We use 'pissed' in two way, to mean drunk and to mean we're upset I was the latter last night! I don't mind an angsty book but, bloody hell after everything Sienna had gone through and then all they went through together Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents. Tarryn Fisher was absolutely taking the piss. Oh! Yes, that's another usage - to mean having a laugh at someone else's expense...Wow we use that word a lot! As much as I liked If I Stay (I didn't realise there was hype over it), Where She Went is far far better...
Yeah, I have a sister who is a surgeon. So I know she doesn't have problems. And this is why I am an accountant. The thought of doing what she does, just grosses me out.... But I remembered that you work in the medical field, Loopy, so I figured anything I said wouldn't phase you.... It is so good we aren't all the same....
Piss has way too many meanings over there! ;-) You're right, the ending was brutal! I didn't like it near as much as I liked the LMWL series and I guess the ending was a big factor there. You know how I like my white picket fences at the end.
As far as I can tell, Rob was non news except for Robsessed, Robert Pattinson Life and Robert Pattinson Worldwide (formerly Spunk Ransom) and they were mostly pics. The only news item I ran across was the one on Kristen's dress on Gossip Cop. There wasn't anything on them together although I'm sure Hollywoodlife (or Hollywoodlies as Gossip Cop likes to call them) will come up with something - they are still trying to report that Kris and twigs are dissing each other and that Rob has bought twigs a ring to which Gossip Cop simply said a ring is a piece of jewelry that a lot of women wear for decoration - it doesn't mean they are engaged, married, or wearing a promise ring. A lot of people like rings and wear them to wear them. twigs wears a lot of rings (fingers and nose). As a personal observation, Steven Tyler wears umpteen rings. I don't see Hollywoodlife trying to say he's married, engaged, or promised. He simply likes rings. Same for women. The rag should leave the trio alone. Robsten is no more and trying to stir things up isn't going to work anymore - unless you are a diehard Robsten and incurable.
Ella, glad you are ok and everything went well. I didn't see the show, but it sounds like I didn't miss much. As for Kristen I think you could be right that she step out to use the bathroom, or maybe it was just hard for her to see Rob? Even if Rob is over Kristen, and IMO I am not sure he really is, they have a lot of history together. That alone is likely to make things a bit tense. I have seen the pics of Rob and Twigs, but to me it looks like he is trying to hard and I think that she is just using him. I think that both R&K deserve to be happy and if that is together great, if not, that is fine too. I just think that the media has been unfair and brutal to Kristen. Ok, she is young adult that made a mistake, they just need to get over it and move on, not bring it up every time she is mentioned. Sorry for the rant there...

gottta agree with you hun, anything for a bit of drama. We do like the word piss another example being when it's pouring down wth rain, we like to say it's pissing down. White Picket Fence!?! *cough*Dusty*cough* I think cos it was such a MF, that's why I liked it slightly more the LMWL series but at the end of the day Tarryn could write the phone book and I'd read it on the edge of my seat.
I forgot 'pissing down with rain I'm not sure which I prefer LMWL or MV I think hey are both pretty great! What was the other book you ladies were talking about that was similar to MV, The Lost? Or something...Kim I might have PM'd you about this already....
I'm not really in the medical field per se but I've been a Health Care Assistant for 14+ yrs and I almost qualified to be a nurse at one point but the ex got pissy (oh look Kim another way we use the word piss! ) about it, so never finished my exams. But I suppose Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.I've gottta agree with you hun, anything for a bit of drama
Lol, how could you forget that we have enough rain here. The Lonely by Tara Brown and there's a companion novel that goes with it called Lost Boy which is from HIS POV. Both are a good read.
Oh my goodness! Where She Went is so intense! The part where on the bridge in new York. Things got Dusty tense there for a minute.
Its good, right?! I loved that book....
Wow! Five stars for Where She Went. I loved it. Amazing how much emotion she could pack into such a short book.
