I can't remember the scene you ladies are talking about ...Loop your good at embedding vid can you see if you can find it? I don't fancy having to re-watch Annie this Christmas
I shall...Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.
This is me with the movie Terms of Endearment... I just cry and cry at the end... Steel Magnolias too, I could watch them over and over.
You catch on quick! It's driving me crazy that I can remember the name of the actor who played Daddy Warbucks. I love him. He's an old geezer now, but when he was young he played Tom Jones (by Henry Fielding) in the movie of the same name. His name is lurking in the back of my brain, but I can't quite dredge it up. He's a Brit and probably knighted by now.

Thanks hun, I'll deffo watch it over Christmas. Your dad sounds just like my mum she loves Clint and she would pretty much watch his films on any day that ends with a Y. The hubby just came back in from walking the goats and dogs and found me crying like a baby just thinking about this scene. He was like what's up with you, all I could mumble out was Meryl Streep and he was like "Is it Madison or Kramer?" and that started me all over again as it reminded me of this scene from Kramer Vs Kramer:Billy Kramer: When's Mommy coming back?Ted Kramer: I dont know, Billy. Soon.Billy Kramer: How soon?Ted Kramer: Soon.Billy Kramer: Will she pick me up after school?Ted Kramer: Probably. And if she doesn't I will.Billy Kramer: What if you forget?Ted Kramer: I won't forget.Billy Kramer: What if you get run over by a truck and get killed?Ted Kramer: Then Mommy will pick you up.
Oh! I remember it now. God, these old films are the bee's bollocks!
Really liked Kramer vs Kramer. MS and DH did so good. This scene def. beats Bridges. Meryl Streep is soooo good.Did you see her recently promoting her new film? She looks so good. She lost a lot of weight.Really liked Good Will Hunting.....Robin was so good in that...gotta see about a girl
Just when I thought I couldn't love you anymore, I was starting to think I was the only person that's never seen them. I love True Lies, it's such an OTT film it's one of those films that I love vegging out to. That scene is hilarious and just proved that JLC has a great body. FLOVE Notting Hill, love the scene where William and Anna are trying to climb the fence and William says "whoopsidaisies"
Ooops, sorry Loopy, I meant i haven't watched TPiNP and MOPI Have watched Star Wars and The Sound of Music. Try watching TSoM, it's a really great film.I did watch Gone with the Wind and Kramer Vs Kramer but i didn't watch Terms of Endearment, Steel Magnolias and Bridges. Not reallya fan of dramas. Of course, loved Notting Hill and Ferris Bueller as well. I also liked Maid in Manhattan with JLo and Ralph Fiennes. Like Notting Hill, ralph did a speech at a hotel where JLo worked. Her kid asked him a question and then he proceeded to follow the kid to the breakroom where Jlo was and he kissed her with the paps taking their pictures through the small window in the door.
My very first celebrity crush was Bo Duke (John Schneider) on the Dukes of Hazzard, I loved that show, watched it every Friday night. Then he got bumped by Hasslehoff on Knight Rider, lol! I always had a thing for the car guys! :Dz
They cancelled the movie The Interview from opening in christmas day due to terrorist threats.
Have you tried the Pam Godwin novels? Plenty of angst there...they're hardcore though so, be warned.
I've only ever seen or read bits and pieces of Gone With The Wind... I only just watched Pride and Prejudice recently too (the one with Colin Firth). Speaking of good movies that made us cry. Did you guys see the Notebook? I'm not normally a Nicholas Sparks fan because his stuff is so sad, but I really liked that movie. It was another one that had me rolling around on the floor crying my eyes out. Demaris, did you watch The Fault in Our Stars yet? If not, add it to your list!I added Beneath The Burn to my list... I think you recommended that one, right? My angst-o-meter is running on empty and need a recharge!
Not a huge fan of JLo films. I think she is one Yummy Mummy and if I liked women in a sexual way she'd totally be my dream hook-up but as an actress? Yeeeahh. No. And Ralph Fiennes reminds me of Robert De Niro without the excuse of Tribeca for pimping himself out....Oh Lord it looks like I'm going to have to add Ferris to my list.... Not sure, was The Hoff better in Knight Rider or Bay Watch? He's not really my type but was wondering....My cousin use to have a poster of Erik Estrada from Chips on her wall ( remember him?), well past the time when she should have know better
Now I need to find a good book to read. Love, sex, intrigue, some angst and a hea. Got anything?
have you read Monster In His Eyes by Darhower? I loved it.
Good grief, these sure bring back memories. Erik from CHIPS, I remember him....he's now a hot soap star in Mexico.I do like JLo in three movies, the one with Jane Fonda, seriously, that was really funny....Olivia Newton John and John Travolta? Is that one kinda sorta like a musical? Loved it! Every ten seconds I keep remembering a new fave. I could go on all night.
