Eh I've made it 500 pages in, only around 100 left, I'll stick it out to the end, lol. It had enough going to keep me interested, even I did want to smack the taste out of her mouth more than once for her overly melodramatic attitude.

I would never have put a Jasper/Bella up on the 152 thread, but it was requested there so I replied. It is not one of the best J/B fics, you know there are some really good ones, but I don't think this is one of them. I agree with what you said about the story. My post was not intended as a rec, just a reply to the member who was looking for it, sorry if this was misleading. PS - if you are still looking for some good wolf pack fics I forgot to mention LJ Summers. Her stuff is worth reading. I also put you some Peter and Garrett fics on the non canon thread.

Well this thing that happened that made pts no work for a while (I actually don't know how long the site was Down) anyways I thought it was just me and my stupid Internet!

But anyways this made me reconnect with my ex-addiction... twitter.

I'm dissapointed in me I thought I was past that!

Anyways does anybody know what happened?

Was it those photos Astro posted?

I have to admit - I did think I was responsible for the site going down again, but the time away from here allowed me to home my online stalker skills and I was relieved when I saw on the PTS FB that it was DDoS (which surprisingly

, has nothing to do with dildos!!!).

I was actually mid-post on the 152 board when PTS disappeared, and because the rest of the world was asleep and no-one responded for a few hours to my Twitter

, I did a mini-freak out - while waiting for the FBI and the CIA and the AFP to come knocking on my door.

I finished Midnight Caller during my trip. Is it up to 314 chapters only? Felt the ending was rushed...though it was HEA, it could stand to have a few more chapters so we find out what happens to Bella and Alice's pet.

There's 314 chapters (only???)? I have 313, and that's all that I can see on TWCS. Is there another chapter available somewhere else?

I keep hearing mixed reviews about it and out of curiosity I kinda wanna read it but I don't know if I should.

Read it - it's good. Very good!

I love Savage, and I really liked this one. The UC that ficfangirl mentioned lost a lot of people - it was unnecessary, but didn't really detract from the story.

Now the thread is back I can whine about the crappy fics I've read lately. The downside to reading fic in a bad mood: you have 0 leeway for mistakes and just flounce all over the place

I wanted to kneecap Bella for pretty much every chapter of this - she's constantly whiny and seems to have the backbone of a jellyfish. The author doesn't know her arse from her elbow when it comes to SPaG and uses colloquial English for a story set in Forks.

Uh.. yeah. Don't read any of these, basically.

Bella is having a baby. How will she cope? It will be full of mood swings and Emotional whiplash - and thats only Edward. How will he cope with the news along with the struggle of his conditon? Will the pair survive this testing time together.

Actually, the summary goes on to explain that Baby Blues is the sequal to HotRS, and the first chapter is the Prolouge.

I should finish up Heirs and Heirlooms today, and will either start Bring On The Wonder or the Blood & Glory series.

Or something else - I'm thinking The Practicum or The Other Side of the Fence might get a look in!

I totally agree! I got why she broke so badly in New Moon, and I actually seek out books where Jasper,Jake,Peter,whoever help bring her back to life.

But the way this one is, it just goes on and on and on. She doesn't speak, doesn't eat, barely sleeps, she cuts herself. Once Jasper finds out and tries to help, and then Rose and Emmet come back, and she takes like one step forward, three steps back. Rages, screaming, yelling, sneaking into the bathroom and cutting herself in a house full of vampires. It just seems WAY over the top.

Plus, this is one of those authors that over does the southern in Jasper's speech. All the "g"s are dropped from the end of words, I think she even used "cited" for excited, and similar stuff. "Git" instead of get, and on and on.

Yes, that's why I love non canon vamp stories.

I think I've read that story before, don't remember much, that says all

Oh yes, all that dialect talking really annoys me a lot! It disturbs my reading because I don't understand it...

You should definitely go for The Other Side of the Fence, I really can't praise it enough. Adorable, funny, sad.. it's definitely one of my top fics ever, and that's something considering how many I seem to have read!

Any Aussie footballer - regardless of the code they play - is never shy of whipping their bits out. A nudie run is as common as a hot breakfast for boys that play football.

I don't watch Aussie Rules football (AFL) - it's more a southern thing - it's a religion in Victoria, but after seeing this I might have to reconsider. The AFL boys are fine - completely different build to traditional Rugby players - AFL boys are tall and lean, and have great arms.

I read Broken Angel, and it was ok, but WAAAY too lemony, which is what has made me hesitate on Blood and Glory.

Broken Angel was like lemon lemon lemon lemon lemon, and the overly affectionate terms for bella drove me NUTS. "my daughter" "my little sis", "my angel" and on and on and on.

It's a serious affliction! I need to seek professional help!

And to make it even worse, even when one of you really bags a fic, I scurry off and find it, if I don't already have it...you know... just in case I might see it differently!

I think I read so much rubbishy kids' writing (5 year olds will never win a Pulitzer!) that I just turn my brain off and let the words wash over me, but then I hate myself for not flouncing when I could have been reading something that is actually good!

When you read stuff like this all day, anything seems ok!
