I just finished Tina Reber's Love Unscripted and went searching for the twific it came from, but am having no luck. Is it possible this wasn't one? I guess I'm back to imagining B/E into real books, but this read so much like an Actorward that I'm having difficulty believing it. Perhaps that's a compliment to the good actorward twifics out there?
We all thought it read like a fanfic, but no one can figure out which one it is.  The closest I've seen is Burtcore's Breaking from the Ordinary, which is somewhat similar, but different enough that you question it.  And it could be that it is that and she changed it when she published it.   ;D

Hello all!  I'm new to this blog/website and was wondering if you could give me some recs: I love all human Edward/Bella fics that have a HEA...angst, romance, humor....i'll take it all.  Please send me all recommendations-- you have no idea how much I appreciate it!

Anything written by nolebucgrl is good, in my opinion.
Except maybe Taste of Innocence.  I couldn't finish that one.  Too much internal monologue.  I think it was her first though.

Okay I am trying to post this again.  Stupid computer is not working properly.  And it is only about 6 months old.  This makes me unhappy.  >:( >:( >:( >:(

I wrote a bunch of stuff which I lost when I crashed, but these were my rec's  - mostly funny.  Some angst.

Sexy Silk is complete.  Even though it isn't marked that way.  I think she wanted to write a second epilogue before marking it.

Oh Lordy! I know who you stalk on Twitter! Do we really need pictures like that here?

Of course we do!  >:D

Here's the link, but I need to update the instructions with my new learnings! You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

If it's a picture that you have found on the internet and you don't have it saved on your computer/iPad, you don't need to go to tinypic!

If you use Chrome, you can just right click on the pic and then click on "Copy image URL". Then paste that between the IMG square brackets in your PTS post.

If you use Internet Explorer, to find the image URL, right click on the pic, click on Properties, then highlight and copy where it says "Address (URL)".

If you use Mozilla Firefox, right click on the pic and then click on "Copy Image Location".

On an iPad, tap and hold on the image for a few seconds and a menu should appear with"'open","open in new page" and "copy". Choose "copy" to copy url. Then post that between the square IMG brackets in your PTS post.

Remember that big pictures make things crash, so width=450 or smaller
When you click the Mona Lisa Insert Image button  in your post, you'll get this [ img ] [ /img ].
After the first "img", type in a space followed by "width=450". You can type any number, but it should not be bigger than 450.
The location of your picture gets posted between the two sets of square brackets.

To post a pic inside a spoiler, click the Sp spoiler button in the reply box (at the top) then paste the link inside the spoiler brackets, without spaces, or select whatever you want to be hidden, then click the Sp button.

Astro, you're about as handy as a pocket on a shirt sharing all this internet pic copying/posting info with everyone. I couldn't figure out how to do it the 1st time I posted pics, so I just added them in an attachment & it DID NOT look right. I've been too embarrassed to ask how to do it or post any more since then. I think even this computer moron can make it work next time with your datailed instructions.

Ya know, you should work in the education system. You'd be a great teacher or administrator - lol.  :-*

Astro, I modified your Subject to make it easier to find

Because we all remember the word tinypic, but for some reason embed doesn't seem to stick.  Maybe you should have said "inbed"  :D :D :D :D :D :D

It was definitely a FF.  I read it as one of my first FF maybe in 2008 and I want to say her penname was something like treber or tinareber.  I will even go so far as to remember reviews about her publishing the story.

When I read the actual book, I knew exactly what was coming next from the lake trip and the lobster sickness to her owning the vineyards, the accident, the trip to Florida, etc.  What I didn't read before was her dreaming about the man and the backstory of her father.  I believe there is even a part in the second book in the author notes that she recently added that storyline confirming to me that it wasn't in the original fic. In fact, the second book had a lot that wasn't in the original.

I honestly don't think it was called Love Unscripted but for the life of me I can't remember the original title.

It's either that or I dreamed this whole story as a Twilight FF and she trapped my dream and made it come to life. I wish I never threw my old computer away because I had the story on my explore favorites area.  Silly me!

A true hoarder would have kept the computer! Everyone knows that as soon as you throw something away, you're going to want/need it.  Of course, eventually your family would have to do an intervention.  And the SPCA would confiscate your 50 cats, too.
Please search before requesting or posting.  Check the You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login for uploaded Twilight fanfiction.

I started to read it and it totally read like a fanfic.  But 2008 was before my time in fan fiction terms.   ;D

Hello ladies,
I'm in a fic slump and i've been told this is the place to ask for recommendations.
I'm looking for humor fics (not crakfics) or adventure fics, you know the kind without lots of angst that help you forget about real life. Right know I'm reading Countown to combustion by bkhchica and In pursuit by Sarge's girls and I'm looking for similar fics.

I've been lurking around a bit before posting and you all look like people that enjoy a good laugh so I'm sure you can help me.
Thank you!!!

Welcome!

Someone listed a heap of humour recs in a single post just recently - well ... sometime this year! I'm so sorry, but I can't remember who or when and despite a very quick look, I can't even link you back to that post.

Perhaps whoever posted can post the link to the original post and put this geriatric out of her misery!

For humour, I like Carano and 107yearoldvirgin (all on index). A lot of people have also rec'ed You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login as their favourite humourous fic.

When I read "adventure fic", I immediately thought of Surviving Bella by Savage7289 You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

I've been reading Quiet Storm by sexylexicullen.  I'm almost halfway through and I'm not sure I really like any of the characters, other than Aro and Edward, Sr.  Does it get better?  I mean, she's in a second sequel...someone has to like them.

I can't flounce.  My OCD won't let me.  Please tell me there's hope.

've read the first two and must say i enjoyed them greatly. but i'm quite a big mobster fan.
i will admit i haven't read the 3rd because i'm not interested in their kids stories so much. each to their own i suppose.

Thank you , but when I grow up, I want to be a ballerina!

Or a cowboy!

Or maybe I just want to ride a cowboy!

True story - The kids in my Year 1 class had to present a little morning talk about what they wanted to be when they grow up. 5 year old girl stands up and announces to the class:

"When I grow up, I want to be a ballerina...

Or a stripper."

Yeah - classy family!

In that family - she definitely knew what a stripper was.

Mum might have been a stripper before kids - when I knew them, both parents were "employed" by my tax payments!

She would be 16 or 17 now  I wonder what career path she ended up choosing?

Thanks, I only discovered fanfiction last fall, so my experience is limited, but I feel much better knowing I'm not imagining how this read. Do you remember liking the sequel? I started it, but realized I had to take a break from the story. The dream guy threw me off and I stopped on page 12. Is the sequel worth the read?

P.S. For my break, I'm reading Wannabe Charlotte's Wrenfield Hall and enjoying it.

LOL. That narrows it down to a couple of thousand. :) can you give us some examples of what you have read and liked? Also, at the top are some great links to places and they will help you narrow down what genre you are looking for.

OK-- so I loved Emancipation Proclamation, Clipped Wings and Inked Armor, Silver Strand Nights, Falling for You....I guess I love some angst and I also love a strong Edward...with the Bella character I'm pretty open to anything.  I hope this helps a little more...I'm usually all over the place with what I read...I just try to stay away from paranormal stuff.  Thanks for all your help!

I agree with you all, these are the kind of stories I was looking for. Sadly, I've read them all. That's why I'm in a slump!!!
I'm going to try with Hunterhunting and Vancouver-Canuck-Girl. I can't remember if I've read anything by them.

I came out of my slight lurking to say those are also the type of stories I tend to love the most - and thanks for rec'ing Drotuno's stuff, now I know what I'm reading next.
