Oh, I miss reading/writing here but my netbook freezes constantly (how do I make it work right again?) and our computer is in the childfree room, so I have nearly no time to go there...

I just got a part of my student loan back!

Enough to buy a new netbook, so I looked for one, got it approved by hubby and ordered it. Should be here tomorrow, then I hope I can be here more again! And download more stories from FF.net etc etc...

I was just about to write that the only solution I could offer was to buy a new one! Yay for you! Happy news! 

I was cheating and read some published fanfics (Trust in Advertising, Boycotts and Barflies, Poughkeepsie, Wallbanger, Live-In Position, Cocktails and Dreams...) I never read the fanfics there, so I liked most of them...

Yes - all teachers are just fountains of knowledge that encourage a child's hopes and dreams!  

I should apologise for teachers like this, but I really just want to bitch slap them right out of the profession! You just know ones like that are only in it for the holidays! 

I see Bella having the same features as KStew but not really her, you know what i mean?  Just an overall image of an average brunette with a not so thin body like kstew's at BDPart2. Don't hate me but i really think KStew is beautiful specially when she is made up, not overly though. For me, I think she looks great here, simple, but if only she combed her hair a bit...

I'm still working my way through Bring On The Wonder by Bronzehyperion. I'm 709 pages through 1500+ pages, and while it's taking me a long time to get through it, I'm now really into it.

It's slow, but it is moving somewhere, and I actually look forward to reading the next bit each night.

This Edward is definitely not a naughty one - he is not yet a priest but is studying theology in preparation, and he is very committed to his faith and morals and is struggling to define his relationship and growing feelings towards Bella. In the bit I read at 4:30am this morning, he kissed her on the cheek - awwww!

Why was I reading at 4:30am on a Thursday morning? I got a text on my phone congratulating me on winning £550,000GBP on some British lottery that I certainly didn't enter. Of course, my phone was not on the charger in the kitchen were I normally keep it, and I had to scramble around in the dark, without my glasses, until it beeped again and I found it in the lounge room!

Was NOT happy! Especially because my alarm was set to go off an hour later! 

Hmmm, 3 things i want to comment on:
1. Priestward - not my thing...at least he is not a priest yet so that's ok. But once he has been ordained, i don't want him being tempted or whatever. Sorry, am catholic so have strong feelings about this one.
2. Scams - beware! Have any of you received emails about being given an inheritance or needing your help so they can transfer bazillion USD or whatever? Coming from a Nigerian bank? Pls pls don't fall for it. Again, sorry to generalize but anything coming from a Nigerian bank reeks of scam and money laundering. A client of mine in Japan called me, all excited about her "friend" giving her an inheritance. Sure enough, it was from a nigerian bank. Good thing she had the sense to call me for advise and we quickly proved it was all a fake. Just be careful. Any money that is legit should not be difficult to transfer anywhere in the world, just show the documents. Finding ways to course it through someone else? Dubious!
3. Glasses - you wear them too? cool, me too! Sadly, been wearing one since i was 10. My eyes reject contact lenses. So i totally relate to being the nerd/geek/plus sized underdog. Who would have thunk eyeglasses would now be considered sexy? So Astro, you may not know it, but you may have dads thinking of how hot the principal is

I wear contact lenses for work and glasses for reading at home.  Talking of scams, I had an e-mail from a friend with a link to follow but nothing else.  Trusting it was legit because it came from my friend's e-mail I followed it.  It took me to a US work from home site.  Very strange.  How did they put this up in my inbox with her e-mail address???

It's usually because she's clicked on a link that someone sent her, and then they have access to her inbox and contacts list. If ever you receive a message from anyone with only a link in, don't open it. It's more than likely a scam and will also infect your email account too.

Aside from emails that contains only links (do not click! Delete!), you probably also get emails from a friend saying she was robbed while on a trip abroad (didn't meet Rob, but was stolen from  ) and needs you to send money. For these cases, their email was hacked (use strong Pas$w0rds!) so they were able to send to their contact list.

I read Real Women Have Curves. I thought it was pretty good. A lot of times the H.S fics make me want to rip my hair out but surprisingly this one didn't. Do you have a finished copy? I think the one thats still posted on ff or twcs in incomplete and I know when I read it the first time it was finished.
