Why is the Diva Cup not the first choice for FemHy products???

So, it seems that we had a similar issue, and I'm relieved that it gets easier:

  • I never knew daylight could be so violent.
Ok, I have a few questions and I don't have the time to read 140 pages backwards right now...

1. Why would someone use a Diva Cup? And I mean regularly, not just once in the name of science...

2. Who thought the name Diva Cup? The only thing I can think of right now are tambons named "Blooming Flowers" or something equally weird.

3. Why have I see NO such things in Greece? I want to go to the drug store and demand one. Or maybe call my doctor. (Damn, it is a sunday!)

4. What was I thinking, logging in while having breakfast...?

+1. Happy belated birthday, Deranged Dreamer!

Something similar was used in Thailand when I was there because tampons were imported only and sooooo expensive.
on the name, probably a marketing gimmick to make you feel FABULOUS, ya know, like a Diva!  :D
I wish I had picked one up. I thought it sounded messy.

I think the big seller for a lot of people is that these are reusable, so much cheaper in the long term, and much more environmentally friendly. They take up a lot less space. You never run out and have to send the boyfriend/husband out to buy more. They would be awesome for travel. As a Diva Cup newbie, I can honestly say that the first 2 days of my period have been so easy, and painfree. I am definitely a convert!

2. Who thought the name Diva Cup? The only thing I can think of right now are tambons named "Blooming Flowers" or something equally weird.
Weird name - totally agree! Even weirder is this that comes with it!

3. Why have I see NO such things in Greece? I want to go to the drug store and demand one. Or maybe call my doctor. (Damn, it is a sunday!)
They're unheard of in Australia too - at least in my circles. I bought it online.

4. What was I thinking, logging in while having breakfast...?
I don't know - but at least I didn't post pictures!  :D :D :D

I thought so to - my sister mentioned a few years back that she had seen them being sold when she had gone to the Glastonbury Festival in the UK. I remember that we were all horrified at the thought of what she described. However, I haven't found these to be messy AT ALL.

I am strictly a Blanks Pants girl during Shark Week - no matter what I do, I always manage to leak a little. This is usually me:

So far, no leakage - not even a drop. I won't be wearing my white jeans to work tomorrow, but I'll be less paranoid than usual!

I know the last thing I so strongly endorsed was the 30 Day Shred.

Believe me, the Diva Cup is much less painful!

Something I didn't mention in my review - I did a lot of reading about removal today. Quite a few websites suggested

1- from what Astro and Avridulac say the Diva Cup seems to work magic. :D

2- I believe it was created/ invented? By a mother and a daughter but I might be wrong. How they decided the name? Who knows.

3- I've never seen them in a store either. I know Astro got hers online.

4-it did have a spoiler alert. :D :D :D

Oh Astro our post are similar.

Many women ask us, “Why Diva?”. When planning our vision for Diva International Inc. we wanted to choose a name that would represent the unique and innovative design of our products and our mission to empower the everyday woman with the knowledge she needs to make the right choices for her lifestyle and period care routine.

The name Diva originates in Italy, where it was used to describe a female deity, a powerful woman whose talent resembles that of the gods. In the 1800s the name Diva was used to describe a talented woman, leading the way in music and stage. What better way to empower women than by encouraging them to become a menstrual Diva – a leader in period care! By embracing the innovative products of Diva International women around the world are taking center stage in their menstrual health and extending this empowerment to their daughters, friends, co-workers, neighbors and to all the amazing women in their lives.

A menstrual Diva – a leader in period care!

Last night, I was going to bed early and then discovered Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire on TV.

Tonight I was going to bed early and then discovered Water for Elephants.

Why does he have to be so pretty? I really wanted to go to bed early tonight - I have parent/student/teacher interviews all week!

Thanks everyone for their quick replys and Astro for summing up her review.

I'm still not using it... I'm not really confortable with seeing so much blood in a cup. (Because no matter what you say, that what this looks like in my mind. :P)

But the idea behind the name...  :D

WfE is his prettiest I think. I re-watched Cosmopolis last night. Good film with a point and so much drooling...
