Glad you are safe. If you could send some of that water our way, it sure would help with the fires.  Right now we are not really near it.  But if the wind blows like it did last week, that could change.  :P

Mostly though it is in the hills about 30+ miles away and is still on the other side.

It is funny though.  You get floods we get fire because it's so dry.

News said we got the rain for two months in three days   ???
The Supermarket closed at 6pm and all employees had to move the stuff from the lowest cupboards to higher ones, hubby just got there in time to do the groceries hunting...
The gym my daughter has her gymnastics Training at was closed to be a shelter for those that will have to be evacuated, a lot of Schools in the inner City are closed...

I'd love to send the water to you! And I hope you stay safe! That weather is scary...

I'm sure the kids love that the schools are closed.  Always best if you can stay safely at home. So I hope your husband got enough food.  At least our dust storms blow off in a day. You just don't want to drive in them. It's worse than fog.

We should get the flood high this night and then they are positive that it gets better... we can only hope, right?

Greetings to Greece!  :-* We just booked our summer vacation at/on Kos, can't wait!

Went for camping there when I was 16. It was so beautifull! The island is rather small and it's easy to move around and the water is to die for! I spend all my days at the beach. I hope you have a great time ;)

I started the Gravity series by drotuno today. I like it, it's very violent but well written.
I can't remember if I have officially added this one to my list or not...   I'm not crazy about over the top violence...   It's mostly the blood and gore that I don't want to read about.    Let us know what you think once you finish it.

However the one thing I was finally able to do and so glad i did was read " The Other side of the Fence"  OMG OMG OMG  I loved it. Thank you do whom ever rec'd this book.   :-*  :-*  I did not want to put it down.   I absolutely loved that Edward.  Now i have to find another FF to read.  I believe I was told that I must read EP, and Hydraulic 5.

On another note,  I finally got my new phone.   :57:  :cheer:  I got the Galaxy S4.  I love it,  so cool what it can do.
Yes, definitely read EP!  It's great.   I haven't heard of Hydraulic 5, need to check that one out.

I've been drooling over the Galaxy S4 and now I'm feeling even more tempted.  How is the camera?   As silly as it sounds after good reception, an excellent camera is the second most important feature to me.

Being slightly paranoid, the first thing I do on a new computer is put a post it over the camera.

I watch way too much crime dramas LOL!
Funny! And an incredibly good idea.    My laptop is too small for a postit note so maybe I can use a little piece of black electrical tape.

I got a new phone over the weekend - Motorola Razr I (maybe called something different overseas). It has an 8MP camera on the back, which is pretty awesome, and a fairly decent front facing one too. Check deals for that one if a camera is that important to you :)

I have a Galaxy S2 and the 8MP Camera on back still doesn't take as good of a picture as my old iPhone 3G.  I am not a big Apple fan, but I will say the camera on the phone is amazing.  But for the price? The pictures are good enough.  I guess it depends on your budget and how many apps you have already paid for LOL!

I absolutely love the S4.  The 13mp camera takes great pictures and so many edit options.  If you are taking a picture and lets say a car drives by and you capture it,  you can delete just the car out the picture.  Or you can take the best of 5 different pictures and make one collage out of it.

I love being able to read an email or webpage with out touching the screen, or answering the phone with a wave of my hand in front of it great when i have my hands full.

My old phone was 4 years old and I was just waiting till something came out that really caught my attention.  I am not an iphone person (sorry to the Iphone lovers out there) so the Iphone was out of the question.  I love being able to read an email or webpage with out touching the screen, or answering the phone with a wave of my hand in front of it great when i have my hands full.

Mostly, I love my S2.  However, every so often it starts doing this thing where it crashes a bunch.  I end up having to remove the battery, put it back in, then restart it.  And of course it does it when I really need to use it for something.  :P

This is not to say I didn't crash my iPhone when I had one.  :D :D :D :D :D

One of  the best things though? Amazon has a free app of the day for android phones.  I've gotten some great apps that way.  And there are some crappy apps too.  I always check the permissions and see if they make sense before I download it.   Though I don't know if it is available everywhere or just in the US.  :-\

I have another year or so on this one, so the S4 is in the running.  I also am looking at the Note.  But I will have to check prices and options.  ;D

I will have to look at that App of the day for Droids :-*.  If i remember correctly I did not like the note because it was just TOOO big.  But i could be mistaking on that.
