It depends on what you're doing. Like Loopy said, our temperatures are mild compared to yours anyway, and there's no guarantee that kind of weather will even last. If you're going to be on the tube a lot, pack lightweight jackets you can easily remove as it gets so hot on the underground, but it'll no doubt get colder as the day progresses. Also - no open-toed shoes as people will no doubt step on your feet if you're hitting tourist places.

I would bring things you can layer up to be warm if necessary, and then one semi-warm jacket that's waterproof (no doubt it will rain). Is it a leisure or business trip? I can give you some advice on things to see and places to eat :)

Lauren - It's definitely a pleasure trip.  My middle child is 14 and just graduated from middle school today!  Yay!  Which means I spent all day at graduation ceremonies, receptions and parties to act as cheerleader and adult supervision.  I had to come home and take a nap this afternoon and all I did was watch!  So, in anticipation of him not wanting to travel with us once he finishes high school, we're taking him on a trip.  He got to choose the destination and we're leaving the other children at home so my husband and I can give him our undivided attention.  We know we're spending time at the British Museum and we'll go to whatever is being put on at by the Royal Shakespeare Company.  We also plan to take a day trip to see Stonehenge, but we're certainly open to suggestions for other activities.  I also would love some suggestions on places to eat!  Your advice would be appreciated.

Wide Awake was one of my first fics, and it's still one of my favorites.

Can someone clue me in what WWF is? All I can think of is wrestling!

World Wildlife Fund  ;)

They're all running around wild and naked in the jungle. It's one of those weird Twific Role Play things.

Okay, so it took over an hour but there's my little guide to London! I've checked that everywhere I recommended is open on the dates you're here, and you should all be good to go. You'll no doubt have a lovely time :)

I just finished Entwined with You (Crossfire Series #3) and here are my thoughts... Don't read if you haven't finished the book!
Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

It is already queued up on my ipad. I have heard although originally it was suppose to be the last one, there is at least going to be one more. I hope I slowly learn to like Eva. To me she is just so immature. But Gideon......

Terrible week at work, as it has required ALL my time. Hubs has been in Brazil, but he will be home on Sunday. Haven't gotten very far with The Singer and the Sorrow but for a vampfic, the plot is pretty unique. I have about 13 chp left.

So what's the agenda this weekend other than chores around the house?

Tonight my friend and I are heading to see Spank, the Fifty Musical. Thanks to whomever recommended, since I had never heard of it. Tomorrow, I take my mother shopping.....someone please pray I will survive. She is an all day, let me look at everything, only to go back to the original thing she looked at. It's going to be a long, long day. Then Sunday, it is chores, a little reading, and then hubs is home.

I actually loved this one - but I think we all gathered that from my experience in the park in the other day.  :P
I suppose because Sylvia is writting another 2 books she has to make sure that there is still loose ends to tie up and things to keep us interested - I know I sure am, and as along as she doesn't ruin Gideon by making him weak or anything I'll still keeping reading them.  :)

I read one of the recs I hadn't heard of on the top ten lists posted recently.

Twice as Long as Yesterday by hopeful wager.  There were a lot of instances of mixing up the present with the past (the story was set in the 1800's)  It was okay, I can't say I really enjoyed it though.

I also read North of Need by Laura Kaye (book not fic) and have to say I absolutely loved it.

I know I am several pages behind, please forgive me. I read this too when I was on my Laura Kaye fix. Now I need to read the newest one, South of Surrender.

The only books I have left of hers to read are:

Her Hero series:

Her Forbidden Hero
One Night with a Hero

Just Gotta Say

Hard as it Gets

Then of course her next two due out.
Taken by the Vampire King
West of Want

I have enjoyed all the books by her. But I took a break since South of Surrender wasn't out and jumped back to a fic. Rickell, have you read that one yet?

Too many lemons?  Is that possible? LOL   You should read Let Your Light Shine sometime...  its really good!  I read the first two and then got distracted and didn't read the third one.  I need to make sure I have that one marked to go back to.

Southern Drawl here !!! Well to me, I don't, but everyone else says I do.

I'm from South Carolina, I definitely have the drawl. Or maybe more of a twang, lol. Yeah, I'd call my voice a twang. I'd do that voice thing, but my mic is disabled on my laptop, and I can't figure out how to re-enable it, and I still have the problem that caused me to disable it in the first place! (I get a squealing reverb type of sound whenever I close the laptop unless the speakers are muted)

Oh and I'll be interested to see what you think of Broken Angel(and it's lemons!). Keep us posted!

Matron, I am sure our accents are similar as I am just a few hours from you. As far as your mic, I don't know what your pc is, mac or windows, but check the sound in the control panel. There is usually a tab for recordings that has your mic.

Saxony  ;)

We are good, the worst of the flood is hopefully over. My city was well prepared, they actually used all the money they got after the bad flood 11 years ago to prepare. Other smaller towns didnt do that, now they are worse off...
