I started reading The Emperors of Washington by gallantcorkscrews last night. It was love at first sight. 

I've been debating as to whether I should post this here or on the 152 thread . . .

The following fics have been on my Stalk list since 2010. They haven't been touched since then, are not marked as complete and don't appear to be finished (I glanced at the last paragraph or a/n).

Does anyone know anything about any of them? Should I write them off as a lost cause? Do you know the author, and just yesterday they confided in you that they have finished and will be posting the conclusion in its entirety next week? Are they finished enough for me to flag and then remove from the Stalk List?

Consider my extreme Wiphobia and the repercussions of this last option!

I have 7 chapters left to read and so far so good. I think you will definatelly like it if you are generally into horror and/or phycotic Edward. It is also fairly small (16 Chapters) so I know that it won't get streched out as a plot which is always a good sign.

Edward is a killer. But it can't be explained away by his vampire nature. He's just a sociopathic, human teenager. CAN I MAKE A LOVE STORY OUT OF THIS? ExB.

I always enjoy well written dark or horror stories and this is definatelly one of them.

I loved that story! But other than the murderer aspect, I don't think people will like

Update 1/8/13 - Hey there. For whoever is still reading, I AM still writing. I am so sorry about this, but I am still working on the conclusion of How to Paint a House. I don't want to mislead you again, but I do plan to update soon. The chapters are coming along, and I am happy with the way things are going. If I'm satisfied, I may update by Friday or Saturday. Thanks for sticking around. I never planned for this to drag out like this, but alas, life got in the way.

The author released 4 chapters, before removing the story. According to her profile (last update January 2012) she was planning on editing and reposting "soon", but there was no update on the story after that. Hasn't been on Twitter since December, but I send her a PM anyways...

Seems abandoned... The author is still active and posting a new story (The Living Will), so guess what... I send her a tweet and a PM

My advice is to follow these stories on FF.net. If they ever get updated you will get an e-mail, but don't keep your hopes up
