Um, I am feeling a little confused. There is relatively new story n FF.net called Break in the Clouds, and I just realised that the author AnotherPen is actually CaraNo's account. Can anyone explain why she felt the need to open a new account? :/

She said something about not wanting to deal with the pressure and expectations. Or some BS like that.
For me is just proved that even tho she got a lot of reviews she would have gotten thousands more if people knew who she was.
I think she was bored.

I'm laughing because I just noticed that I have 75 fanfics on my Kindle and I'm completely overwhelmed with how I'm supposed to sort them. Alphabetical by author? title? In order that I want to read them? by category? I don't even know where to begin. Did I read correctly that many of you have 1000's?

I'm afraid to even adventure into use Calibre for more than just switching pdf to mobi.

Many 1000's.

I make collections on my kindle based on Ward - Vampward, Doctorward, Actorward, etc ...I also have college fic,high school fics, lemony OS, etc..... Some are in multiple categories if they fit. I also started keeping a "reading" and "read" because I was getting a little confused.

I like using the Ward's as then I can use normal categories for real books.

I'm a tad obsessed - again - with these pics. They don't look quite as saggy here, but now I can see the untied shoelace. Do you know how many times each day I need to tell kids at school that their shoelace is untied!

Also, if he pulled his pants up, not only would D_D be able to check out that arse, but he wouldn't have to roll them up either!

And don't even get me started on the whole black shoes with white socks thing!

Don't let Ella convince you to try the lots of stories all at once downloader through Calibre! It's dangerous! And Addictive! And massively cool! And did I mention dangerous?

I'm doing WIP'S now.

This is so crazy. But kind of fun.

I wish this had been available a year ago. I wouldn't have been banned from storymaster. And this works so much better. All those stories that disappeared during the Great Pull of 2012? Yeah, I would have had them. Just saying.

She was targeted by the fanfic bullies. She had most of her stories pulled at some point even though they are fairly clean by most standards. She gets so many reviews and unlike Savage, she doesn't like to spend her time fighting over it. This is why she pulls her stories as soon as they are complete and puts them on her website.

So maybe this is an attempt to stop the targeting?

Why do people have to be hateful in FF.net? You like a story, read it and leave a review. You don't like it, move on. Or at least be polite...

I could list about 20 "best" fics now, but it really does depend what you're in the mood for - humour, angst, AH, vampire, etc.

I think the best place to start is Twibrary: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
You can search for the type of 'ward or 'ella you want as they are grouped in categories. Also, there is a time travel section that might have something you're after.

Also, try searching here using the tool at the top of the page - type in (for example) time travel, and then select "This Topic" and see what comes up.

I think as of right now I have more than 10.000 fics (pdf) on my laptop...

I am slowly starting to sort through them. Some of them are old ones that have been removed for the net, so I keep them all together. Then I have some sorted on files according to my favorite Edwards or genres. And of course I have a "To Be Read" file with less than 20 stories I want to read sooner than the rest.

I keep nothing on calibre, besides real books. I tried to put some fics there too once, but it got confusing, even though I had created a seperate library.

I used to save EVERYYTHING, but I realise that I should start deleting stories. Some of them are simply terrible, I flounced them a long time ago , so there is no point in keeping them.
