i thought she was jasper sister. but i bet you are right
Now that you say that - what Alice said does makes sense.
But Bella went Marcus, so you never know - I'm confused.  :D

That's why I don't keep any!  I read, enjoy and delete.

No way! You delete? You must be the only Twific reader I know that does that, I think the rest of us horde fics as if they're food and we're about to face the apocalypse!  :D :D

Ok...I went through and tagged the new stuff that I lazily didn't tag as I added it to calibre. Unfortunately, I have like 500 just labled "fanfic", that are some form of Edward and Bella, that I now get to sort through and tag by what "ward" they might be and if they are vamp or not. *sigh*

This is gonna take a while!
Tagging is my least favourite part of fic maintenance...the downloader on Calibre is great if you download from FF.net, as it pulls them for you, but if you upload from a pdf? You're screwed; also if I haven't read the fic how the hell do I know what kind of ward it is or if its angst, humour, Canon, OOC  etc...with most pulled fics you're lucky if you get a summary... ;D

Either way, it's going to be a PITA to add all the tags, but you could also pull up twibrary or twifanfictionrecs and tag your library by those. I *think* the entries in twibrary are alphabetic so you could have your calibre sorted by title and then compare and add tags.

You'll probably also find a ton of other fics you want to read lol.

I still have a TON that I need to tag. I was so very happy when flag started adding tags with one of the updates.

 :iagree:

Yes, I actually used the "find URL", copy and pasted into the "pull from URL" just to get all the tags and summaries and stuff.  Then I ran a check for duplicates and merged them with the old ones.  Worked perfect.

same here, but at least I can say my reading is educational. Someone has to improve their English skills, the kids need help with their homework..lol

AND I don't spend any money on more books. He had to build more shelves all the time for me, so he should be happy. I read and brush up my English, I don't spend money and save trees. Wow, I'm such a good person! ;)

You have a legitimate reason and sound like a saint when you put it that way! I'm just an unattentive wife (until I come across some lemony goodness)

I am not all that technically minded and didn't know how to keep them.  I usually read them online.  I don't usually re-read - I hate knowing what's coming.  The only books I have ever read twice are the Faraway Tree trilogy and recently, the Twilight series and  have only read one real book since then!  Sad - I know!
I reread stuff I like or at least the good stuff - i.e. things that make me laugh, etc...

Stuff that is okay? I read so much that give it a year & I will have forgotten most of it. So I might reread if I can't find anything else to read....

I found out how to download almost right away because my friends on twitter who introduced me to fanfiction also introduced me to Fanfiction Downloader.  Probably why I like it the best. ;)

I'm weird with re-reading fics, usually I'll just re-read my favourite parts and then the epilogue, particularly true for longer fics.

Has anyone here tried writing fic? I have a whole folder of half completed one-shots but I can't imagine ever posting them to FF. Authors are brave!

I have a few that I started and a few more ideas but haven't posted anything either.  I did go as far as making a profile on ff.net though.

When I read really bad ones I think I could do better.  Then I think no, I really couldn't!  I think of lots of great summaries and fics that have not been handled well, but, I don't have the guts to do it so I really shouldn't critisise!  If you have written something - well done you!

Personally I've had  few ideas for fics that I have written on my laptop but never developed the idea. I agree that some authors are brave to put what they have written out there

As far as sorting I only hoard them not sort them and when I want to read something it depends on the tittle and then I open it and read the summary if it catched my interest then I keep on reading .... And NO deleting at all I have everything stored I've learn my lesson since I found this place and all you gals told me how to dl fic and save them for a later read
Don't forget after downloading please press the Thank You button. It doesn't take too much of your time.

Ooh, could you do a quick review when you're done? I've had that on the TBR list for a while but keep passing over it.

Trying to catch up - i love both tea and coffee
- i finished When In Doubt, Blame the Singer's Girlfriend - i liked it but would have wanted more lemons. was written by a fellow Filipino so was quite pleased with that as well. do read it. thanks again for the rec, Ella
- as long as rob is happy, i will be happy for him... But hell no, don't ever do Taylor Swift!
- i love both tea and coffee! Cold or hot i will drink them. the current fad here are MILK TEAs. They have your choice of Black Tea, Earl Grey Tea, Wintermelon Tea etc. and they put some powder on them and top it off with liquid cream cheese... YUMMM. this normally comes with add ons/sinkers like pearls, pudding etc but I prefer just the milk tea.
- i read the short My Way, now i get all those comments... It really was quite surprising to for that s e x act description to pop up.  :D
- i downloaded Caillin and Exchange Student has been on my TBR for the longest time.. i think i will really start Spy Games, right after Carano's picture perfect  :)

I know, right!

I slept for over 12 hours last night (this heat takes it out of a girl!) and everyone has been busy here!

I finally made it to the end and I thought everyone had gone and I'd be left talking to myself again. My responses are going to be posted next.

Just so glad that someone else is here to talk to me for a change! :-*

liquid cream cheese
What fresh hell is this?! I thought maybe it being 3am was making me see things but no, you really did say liquid cream cheese. WTF is this abomination and why are people tainting perfectly good tea with it :o As a side note, this talk of tea reminded me of the Carol Ann Duffy poem I used to love, so thanks to everyone who mentioned the nectar of the Gods! ;)

I just finished Coming Through the Rye

I didn't like it. Maybe cause I'm not British or Scottish I legit did not understand anything Edward said. The whole thing drove me nuts. I have never skimmed a story like I did this one.  :(

I have a fic on the go, but because it reminds me of shit I want to forget I'm having a hard time with where the story is going.
