No you will find Mr Right one day. Always have faith.

My oldest son, also 21 has been dating the same girl for 5 yrs. He is in his last semester at the university and he was talking about wanting to start looking at diamonds at Christmas. GAH. There is nothing I can say. They are both 21. Dated a long time. I like her and at his age, I had been married a few years and he was just born. So it sounds like it will be a big year for me. Youngest started the university Jan 7th, but he will go back to h.s to walk in graduation in June. Oldest graduates the university in May. Then I guess it will be planning a wedding.

One of my classmates from high-scholl got engaged last week. She is with her (now) fiance the last three years, but I still find it weird. I believe her when she says that she found her other half, but is it enough? She has no idea what she wants to do for a living, still hasn't moved out of her parents house, skipped getting a degree etc. So I just can't see haw she can be mature enough to get married. Then again, people are different, so maybe that's just me.

So, my housemate has long distance girlfriend coming to stay tomorrow for the next 2 weeks. She absolutely hates me and ignores anything I say. Looks like 2 weeks of awkwardness in my own home are coming my way!

The American President updated, but it's been so long between updates/the story's dragged out so much I don't really care about it anymore. Not many of my WIPs have updated lately, seems like after the holidays no-one has time.

Did everyone watch that link I posted ages ago of George Takei reading FSoG? I'll never look at that book in the same way again!

This is pretty similar to my situation (the girl, I mean). Me and my boyfriend have been together for nearly 4 years and live together but he wants to wait until we're at least 25/after his PhD, if all goes to plan, to get married. Of course, he's not the one with the Irish-Catholic family breathing down his neck..

I get the Catholic family thing. My family was chill and I'm not religious so I didn't think I needed to get married cause I was pregnant. I mean children are gifts from god, right? Or so I'm told from my MiL
Yeah, but i needed to marry straight away cause they were going to be bastard kids  ::) Riiiiight. Hypocrites much?
I don't think god gives a shit if you're married.

*snort* That's about as religious as I get. I disagree with my inlaws all the time which usually eurpts into a huge argument. Greek and Italian... I just walk away.

On another note... Is anyone here going to be attending the TWIFIC meetup in June??

Well I was very young. But circumstances were odd. I graduated h.s. early, so at 18 I had already finished 1 yr of college. I met hubs on the day I was moving into the university through a mutual friend. We became great friends at first, neither looking for anything serious. My first semester was his last semester (he is 5 yrs older). Well friendship became very very serious. Since he did ROTC through school, he was pulled to active duty and got orders for Germany for 3 yrs (we are in the US), just after we got engaged. We both cried all weekend. My parents said they understood and if dad could have taken mom with him back in the Vietnam war he would have. They gave their blessing to marry and go with him. We thought it was going to be a long engagement, well until I finished college. Sigh, but it was not in the cards. So I left college (way before internet and online courses) and went with him. I did finish eventually and 24 yrs later, we are still very, very happily married. So I was married just a few months before my 19th birthday and he was almost 24.  Yup that young. But it worked!

Not many can say married once and got it right the first time.

Aww that's so romantic. Makes me want to give you hugs xxx

I wish! I'm so jealous if you go, isn't it expensive? I was thinking about going to the UK one but there were only 10 or so people there last year from the looks of it.

It is, but I want to meet a lot of people who I read and have met. However, I'm wondering if our group meeting up would be more fun. Ohhh the possibilities  >:D

Oh the (expensive) possibilities lol. Where would that be held do you think? If we can't do it in RL we may as well pretend - my vote is for here in Oz!! Oooh that would be fun!

Dear Veronica
Author: cosmogirl7481  PM
1994 was the year that The Cranberries lingered on our radios and Jordan Catalano was still the hottest boy we could imagine. But it was also the year that Bella Swan decided to keep a diary. A record of her actions. A place to share her thoughts.

Hello ladies

i dont post regular .But i check this site daily. Its very difficult to keep up with  you all.Everyday like i have to catch 10 pages .anyway someone rec this story  few pages back.So thanks a lot  :-*

I just finished this story. Its not a great story. but decent. sweet  fic. I freaking love bella's inner monolouge & her entry in diary. Its so dificult to find story where bella's inner monolouge is not annoying or whiny. It is so perfect 17 year old girlish. I wish   it was full lengh & detail story. because not just bella but other characters including edward & all circumstances were very diff & unique . I am always up for little uncannon stuff if it come with EB HEA. :)

P.S:- sometimes its nice to find decent fic which is not too angsty but not too fluffy & cliched. another similar type of fic i finished Barefoot in texas. only problem with these stories are, that they are too short.

...'He neiled beside me'
...'i was so embarassessed'
...'He was dateing'
...I bit my tounge'
I started this Fic, and could not believe the above. Those lines are direct quotes from the first chapter. I had to stop. Who allows this crap to be published??!!!.
New rule: All writers must use spell check, must have a beta or 2 or 3.
I remember awhile back with the shudder/shutter discussion. I think it has been discussed so many different times at one point I actually had to pause and think which was correct...shutter/window.  I feel better now, thanks
