Noooo...Italian; I was born in Italy (to British parents) and lived there until coming to back to England for school (convent, boarding, strict, but still unable to teach me how to spell principal  :D )....And I know how you feel about the German accent (no offence also Anchalee!) My parents now live in Switzerland, the Swiss-German part.....it's not very "pretty" language?
