I'm a pretty big geek when it comes to FPS gaming/SW/internet fads and I used to be a HP fanatic (mugglenet member right here ) but Lord of the Rings just wasn't my thing. I'm always suprised by how difficult find it to believe that I've never seen one. It seems to be some rite of passage I've missed!

I love Doctor Who, but I can't imagine reading fanfiction about it. I don't know why I'm so happy to read Twilight ff but no others.

Did you ever play League of Legends? I tried that one time and I was so awful.

Good morning girls! Phew, that was a LOT of pages to catch up to. Just to put in my own comments before going off to a meeting:
1) i LOVE Nolebucgrl!!! Demaris, do keep reading First and Ten as well as her other books. You wont't regret it. Will definitely buy her novel when it comes out this April.
2) i'm a movie fanatic so i've watched a lot of films. never read Harry potter nor Lord of the Rings but have watched the entire series... I really enjoyed them though am not an addict about them. I really liked The Hobbit and looking forward to the next few movies for this one.
3) I liked FSoG, don't care much about the drama surrounding the author. I just enjoyed the books, though we all know it is way far from being a literary masterpiece, i really love the story of Ana and Christian...as i said, i read the trilogy 3 times, consecutively...

  Sequel to Under The Blood Moon started posting yesterday. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login I really hate it when an author posts a sequel when the first fic actually isn't a stand alone fic - and then they more often than not don't finish the sequel.

  I try to avoid a/n and reviews and don't know too much about the what goes on with the authors. That way, I like their writing even if they are the world's greatest b!tch, or I can honestly say I don't like it without feeling like I need to be loyal.

And I hate when an author doesn't stay true to their story because of reviews or FB or whatever.

  P2P - I have no issue whatsoever with P2P.
EL James - I didn't like how she turned on the fandom, but after that interview she did with Babs Walters - what an obnoxious, condescending hypocritical shrew!!!

There needs to be some kind of sticky at the top of the forum stating:

1) search for fics you want on ff.net before asking for them here
2) you can download copies of fics from ff.net using flagfic
3) when asking for a story name, you need to give more than 'Er, well, Bella and Edward meet and fall in love'
4) USE THE FLUBBING SEARCH FUNCTION

I read all the HP fics to my class - that's a whole lot of reading aloud! - and because of that, I can't read any HP ff.

I think I hate the Twilight books!  There, I said it! I love Edward and Rob.

TWCS - I think that it may have been started by the women who wrote The Training School after it got the boot from ff.net, and then grew in popularity when The Perfect Wife moved over there.
