Yep, same here, though the chorus of Sigh No More is close. Their first album will probably always be my favourite.

Phuck! I forgotten how much I flove this band HARD.*singing along to A White Blank Page*

The cool thing? This type is music is the ONLY thing we listen to here. So my four year old daughter can sing along to almost all of these....can name an artist by song or album art and both of my kids request these.

Have you seen You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login They're even better live.

Fleet Foxes - I really liked White Winter Hymnal but the rest of their music was a bit blah for me.
Muse are fantastic, but I prefer their older stuff. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login is my favourite.

I also love 90's Grunge....seriously, Nirvana, Green Day, Live, etc are classic to me.

And when I'm in a 'mood' it's Five Finger Death Punch, Disturbed (yea, my kids know this group also lol), Godsmack, Rob Zombie, etc.

I'm a bit freaked out that you guys like so much of the same stuff I do...I don't share the music taste of any of my RL friends..Is there some co-relation between Twifics and indie ( I use the term indie to differentiate from main stream pop) music ?

Oh that sucks!

I missed Mumford because my ass was too lazy to drive the 4 hours to see them.

4 hours just to get to the next state! I didn't think it would be that far when I bought the tix....now I google maps that shit before I buy.

I love most of these too, I might go build a nostalgia playlist now! Did you ever listen to Staind? I heard It's Been Awhile the other day and I have no idea how I went so long without listening to them, as soon as I got home I downloaded all their albums. I remember having the CD versions years ago.

I love all those. Last band I saw live was Godsmack (with Black Sabbath, yes, with my mom!), and I love me some Zombie. :-* His American Made Music to Strip By is a personal favorite of mine.

Right?!

To be honest, I found a lot of kick ass music from earlier fics. I know Jandco and wtvoc would always post awesome shit in their fics. That's how I got turned on to The Perishers.
