Right?!

To be honest, I found a lot of kick ass music from earlier fics. I know Jandco and wtvoc would always post awesome shit in their fics. That's how I got turned on to The Perishers.

I get so much music now from fics, tv, and movies. Pretty much if it gets played on mainstream radio, I don't care for it, unless it's the rock station.

I do admit, part of why I started listening to Muse was because Stephenie Meyer was always raving about them, and I was kinda "meh", but then I got Guitar Hero and lots of their stuff was on there and I fell in love.

Ditto. Which is why I was a little pissy when all of a sudden I heard Mumford everywhere. When my husband comes home humming it, you know it's gone mainstream. Was the same with The Lumineers, Kings of Leon and Of Monsters and Men. They all just exploded.

They are amazing, and deserve the exposure though.

I love Exile Villify by The National, I haven't heard a lot else of theirs. I'm so jealous of you seeing Arcade Fire live!

twice. First time in 2005 i was at the metal thingy that separates us from the stage.

Last year as a birthday present i went to NY to see Feist, Death Cab for Cutie and Spiritualized!

BMRC I found on the True Blood soundtrack. I think I've loved every soundtrack I've found from that show, so much good, unique music. I think one of their songs was also on the first Twilight soundtrack too.

VAST a friend turned me on to. Their stuff goes from kinda folksy to rock and even some electronica,  you never get bored with them. I've seen some of their music popping up in tv too, I know Free was on an episode of CSI, and I was like "I know them!" it was awesome.

That'd be fantastic.. though would we have one account that we all had the password to or just let one person edit everything? Also, do you listen to Radio 1 often? I keep hearing You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login and even though everything about it should make me hate it, I really love it.

I flove (thanks, Demaris) Bon Iver. I hate that Skinny Love is so overplayed, though. His latest album was amazing.

Agreed, it's everywhere on Tumblr.

Still love it though, but Blindsided is my favorite. And then the entire Calgary album owns me.

Love Eliott Smith but don't know the other?

I never listen to Radio 1, just too commercial most of the time..I don't ever want to accidentally have to listen to Rhianna  :banghead:

I love Bon Iver as well..And yes Skinny is overplayed but I FLOVE it! I can't take credit for 'flove' I think I stole it from Savyy, it's what she whispers in my ear when I give her Lebanese loving  :D  :D
