Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

Gonna stop there before I get repetitive strain injury from copy and pasting! EDIT: I'll go back and switch out all the links to band/song names to make it easier to pick individual links.

Second edit: K, now they all have titles/artists. Enjoy :-*

I go to sleep for 2 hours and there are 8 pages already?!!
My sleep deprived brain just had enough time to skim through everything and just absorbed the following:
1) holy cow, am really getting old as i am drawing a blank on the fic i just read that heavily referenced the Avett brothers. Worse, was it even a fanfic or "real" book?  ???
2) how pathetic am i that i don't know 90 percent of the bands and songs you've mentioned? I'm more of a r&b, hiphop, dance, top 40's kind of gal. Sadly, i am very much familiar with the biebs and swift. Carly Rae Jepsen is the original singer of Call Me Maybe. She has a popular duet with Owl City - Good Time that i am now trying to play in the piano after having  learned Call Me Maybe, Maroon 5's Payphone and The Wanted's Chasing the Sun  (*runs away and hides*)
When i wake up again later,  i definitely have to go back to sleep, i will click on all those music links to expand my music appreciation  :)
3) i would so love to be in chat/skype with you gals. I will bring my p orn husband MFHD with me for show and tell...  :D

Off to catch some zzzzzzzzzzs

It was the  book Slammed that referenced the Avette Brothers..I know because I frigging floved that book!

Oh sweet baby jesus, bless you!!! You've saved me from tossing and turning trying to recall WTF it was. With that, i can truly turn off the ipad and peacefully go to sleep.

BTW, that book and its sequel Point of Retreat were AWESOME!!!!!

I'm loving Brendan James, that's the only one I've listened to so far.

I love this song, but I giggle like a 12 year old boy every time I hear/say the name

Jeepers... so much music! I'm youtubing some of the people I haven't heard of.

I'm not a fan of Mumford. I just can't get into it. Black Keys are fabe esp Everlasting Light  :sparklyheart:

I'm a child of the 80's so I love Billy Idol, Bon Jovi, Metallica, Def Leppard well a lot of hair bands. My first concert that I went to on my own at 13 was Robert Plant. Had no idea who he was  :o

I remember seeing Cruel Intentions and hearing Every You, Every Me and then buying 2 of their CD's immediately after. That cover is great, I much prefer their older stuff.

What music do you like?

I really don't get a chance to listen to a lot of music.  The kids take over in the car - but I do like screeching along to the radio when I'm on my own!

I've been to so many concerts, Bon Jovi reminds me of my cousin. I hardly see him anymore so I smile when I hear them.

I like hairbands cause seriously, a lot of newer bands have dropped off the planet and can't find their music anymore. It's depressing.

The one artist who I am not a fan of, probs cause I'm not a pot head is,  Jimmy Hendrix. I know I'm generalising but really, I got introduced to Jimmy by my brother as he was smoking up with his buddies.

In my experience, Jimmy lovers enjoy dope as well.
