I <3 Hendrix

And your generalization applies  :D :D

Lol, it's all good. Nothing wrong with him or his music just not a fan. I don't think I get what he's trying to put out there.

I've been to so many concerts, Bon Jovi reminds me of my cousin. I hardly see him anymore so I smile when I hear them.

I like hairbands cause seriously, a lot of newer bands have dropped off the planet and can't find their music anymore. It's depressing.

The one artist who I am not a fan of, probs cause I'm not a pot head is,  Jimmy Hendrix. I know I'm generalising but really, I got introduced to Jimmy by my brother as he was smoking up with his buddies.

In my experience, Jimmy lovers enjoy dope as well.

Yeah I'm not a Jimmy fan either, I can see that he plays a mean guitar but...he just doesn't do it for me musically.  SavyB come back here and play nice!

One night, I'm going to stay up all night so I can chat when the chatting happens! Of course, that'll all be the night that you all have better things to do.

And as I start replying, you keep typing so I can't catch up. I need to start each day with posting "Put the mouse down and step away from the keyboard." And it's taken 3 x as long to catch up because I have to keep downloading music now too!!!

:star: My "computer genius" status is self-awarded and tenuous at best. WTF is tinychat? And gchat? I've heard of skype, but WTF!!! Are these something else I'm going to get addicted to???  What are they and how do they work? And does it involve a webcam - I might need to buy something pretty to wear... >:D

:star: Snow days sound awesome! Snuggied up on the couch (you know what a snuggy is, right?), hot Milo (you know what Milo is, right?), a good book (well, an e-reader), Bridget Jones on the TV, someone else to dig out the driveway...ah bliss! We never have hot days. We just suffer in our own sweat!

:star: I flounce nothing. Nothing! You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login It's a disease.

:star: SavyB - CDs? Really? You're showing your age, my dear. Even with my non-existence of techno knowledge, I have an ipod and stream music. . Mostly, I'm a rock chick, but I love 50s/60s classics and I listen to any type of music - when my ipod is on shuffle I'll have Tina, The Mamas and the Papas, KOL, Beatles, INXS, Rachmaninoff, Kylie, Pitbull, Buble, Elvis Costello, Britney, Beachboys, AC/DC, Bach, Ed Sheeran, Bon Jovi, The Temptations, Beyonce, Dolly Parton - it's very schizophrenic! And then it got worse when ff writers started putting together playlists for their stories!

Bieber, Swifty Taylor and One Direction are demon spawn - but their bloody songs get stuck on repeat in my head all the bloody time!

Living where I do, you have to listen to country - and I love the classics and some of the newer stuff (Sugarland, and of course, Keith Urban - le sigh). But Australian Country? :sign0137: I call it "Cousin Rootin' Music" (mostly just to stir my friends - but if the shoe fits... ;))

I secretly lurve Achy Breaky Heart - who doesn't - but the daughter is also demon spawn!

I think my addiction de jour will be converting youtube to mp3! My niece told me about this a few weeks ago and again, you all have inspired me  :-*

I have no rec's though - I can never remember the song title or artist! For me, it's "you know, that song that goes la la la..."

:star: What is the Buddy thing here? I'm waiting for something special to happen with my buddies...

:star: Mr.Admin looks like George Clooney, with green eyes. And today he is wearing his glasses...

...just his glasses.

And I think IE hates PTS - I was having trouble seeing pics so have crossed over to Chrome - no more problems!

(Maybe it's not what you know...but who you know )

:star: Lucylu - I wan't to borrow your ipod for a day!  :-*

:star: And I'll say it again...MFHD? Pffft. CODY CUMMINGS!!! I don't care which way he swings! (sorry Mr Admin  :()

Why do I need to keep apologising to my on-line lurvers? I'm turning into a computer-whore!

:star: So expensive to see good live music (from big names) here - $200 airfare - if they go to Brisbane - then at least $100 for tickets - then another $500 for a bottle of water to drink during the concert! Accommodation, etc just makes it all to much to do regularly.

Phew. Finished!

I love Placebo, and I'm also a child of the 80s, and hair metal was my thing, I had my walls COVERED in hair metal bands. Poison, Cinderella, Gun n Roses (my favorite!), Motley Crue, Ozzy, and on and on.

I have actually sung in more concerts than I have gone to - my school choir was always selected to do back up - mostly for Aussie performers (is John Farnham know o/s?)  but we did do Foreigner.
