I d/l'ed a copy () before it was even released in the Australian cinemas. I knew it was too arty-farty to make it to any theatre near me!

Yeah - not only do I not buy books anymore, I also don't pay for movies. My rap sheet is getting longer and longer today!

I'm getting bad too.  Though I have paid for movies.  But I usually wait until they are cheap.  Unless they are twilight. - but that is mostly because I don't see movies in theaters.  I can't make it through a whole movie without needing to pee & for some reason, the theaters don't have intermissions anymore.  Well, actually, the only movie I know with an intermission is Gone With the Wind.  I saw it once at the old movie theater for a couple bucks.  Almost killed me as I had school and work the next day, but the movies only played one night there.  Back in the old days when my bladder lasted longer than 5 minutes. 

But really, I don't mind buying books.  I like to support writers who entertain me.  I just don't like the prices they are charging for ebooks in comparison to paperbacks.  It is crazy.  Especially when they want $7 for a book that has been out for 10 years that you can find in a used bookstore for 50 cents.

So I get your pirate-y ways

I'm not proud of my pirate-y ways, but society made me this way!

Don't get me started on the price of e-books! And in Australia, there are a lot of books that you can't get real books or as e-books so the only way is to pirate them. My SIL (who IMO reads too much...and that's saying something!) asks me to track down a book that she has seen on goodreads but can't buy here, at least once a week!

A trip to the movies is so expensive here too. In July, I took my niece and nephew (5 and 3) to see Brave. We bought tickets, a small popcorn (which was still bigger than my head!) and about maybe 20 chocolate freckles and I bought a bottle of water (I packed sippy bottles of water for them rather than buy it) and all up it cost me over $70. I had to pay for the 3yo because it was school holidays, even though he sat on my lap and played on my phone for most of the movie!

ETD: And for a TMI moment - my bladder is a fortress! That's an advantage of not having kids. I often go before I leave home on the morning at 6:30 and don't get time to go again until I get home at 5:30 in the afternoon - but that walk from the garage to the bathroom is more a dance and seems to take forever!

School finishes for us a 3:00 - and every day I aim for the best part of being a teacher...what I like to call the 3 o'clock wee.

My teachers know that if I can't be seen at 3:00, that's where I am!

Thank phuck! I have finally finished F&T, Emment is the star of this fic for sure..but the last two or so chapters were so rushed I had to go back to see if I'd accidental missed some pages?! Difficult to do on a device but still.... so, disappointed with the ending but a very humorous read.


Also went to start a tumblr account only to discover that I already have one!...How does that work? Typed tumblr into my browser and it loaded 'my' home page; apparently I joined on 27th of  December, which kind of makes sense as I was at my 'rents, and bored out of my mind, and primarily drunk as a skunk, I remember very little about my Christmas this year....I have yet to do anything with the page though.

Should this be tagged "Robporn" or "Foodporn"?

Yeah - there were a series of photos of him molesting that chocolate bar (...oh, to be that chocolate bar...) and he was fully vamped out -  contact lenses, white makeup, Cullen crest wrist band, the works. His appearance in any of the Twilight movies is my least favourite. So many people don't get my interest (obsession???) because they only know him as "the guy in the tweeny vampire movies".
