Just some GG Red Carpet interviews I stumbled across - between here, Tumblr and youtube, I have had a highly productive day...

The first one is heavily dubbed for Hungarian MTV, but watch the first 35 seconds, just for some adorableness.
It hurts when the interviewer differentiates between Rob's "age group" and people "in their 40s"... - and the way she says "in their 40s" - like it's a disease!

The second one picks up exactly at the 35 second mark of the first one and is not dubbed. It also has a few other questions.

Thanks for telling me to not give up on EP. I had to force myself to read for another couple of chapters, but then finally the tension started coming back Now I'm going back to reread The Lord of the Rings (the best book ever written) for like the tenth time I was in such a mood to reread the epicness of LotR when I was stuck in the middle of EP, which is why I asked. I was certain, had I started LotR, there would have been no way to go back to EP. I even watched the movies, but they only seemed to make it worse

So, I've been doing some maths...I needed something to...distract ...me this evening ...

That's some serious distracting.
The only thing I needed to distract this morning was the kids!

I am going to start one of the stories recd yesterday....decisions, decisions.

Thank god TNGUS is just missing an epi...was stomping my feet in disappointment then i remembered i was on my way to church and i figured there are so many more worse things that can happen 

Well, just came from the movies. My daughter and I watched Les Miserable and it was great! I cried buckets! Ann Hathaway and hugh Jackman were AMAZING!

How to put things in perspective...hmmm... movies here are quite cheaper than for you guys specially if you convert to your currency. However, a movie ticket here is about 75% of the min. daily wage, not hourly wage, but DAILY wage.  This is also why there are a lot of "pirates" here... Just think, if any of you decide to live/retire here, you will all be Multi-millionaires... We have a lot of Americans and Europeans opting to retire here due to the weather and bec the cost of living is cheap, their pension goes a loong way for them to live comfortably for the rest of their lives...

With that, am off to finish TNGUS.

I still love going to the movies, thought I almost never do it anymore....too damn expensive. The only movies I absolutely had to see in the theatres were the Twi films, I liked the special effects better.

We took my kiddos to see Cars 2 when it came out....tix alone cost us close to $50. Ridiculous.

I have a site that I use for movies at home. I don't download anything, just play through the computer on the tv via hdmi cable. Works well but I rarely do that either. For some reason when I'm at home I cannot focus on a movie...when I get free time I want to be online and/or reading and now spend it on a movie 

Yeah - I tend to d/l more for other people because I prefer to be doing other things than watching movies.

I have started d/l some tv series though - no ads and it gives me exactly 42 minutes on the treadmill each morning.

I don't think we can access movies sites in regional areas - there might be some more technologically minded Aussies who know. I know in our capital city you can subscribe for a fee and download but it's not available where I live. Plus we pay for everything we d/l in Australia - no unlimited downloads here!

Don't worry - I'm finding plenty of my own!

But at least I share.

When LaurenD pointed out to me yesterday that I had 1000 posts I freaked! 1000 posts? How the hell did I go from lurking around 152 in July, to having a 1000 posts? But then I just shrugged it off, because nearly every minute I spent posting I've spend laugh so...worth every one of those minutes in my book.  I just hope that people aren't put off from joining the party by the amount of chatting we do..sometime I panic with the amount of pages I need to catch-up on, if I was new, and didn't know how much fun we had, I might, having lurked once or twice, think "shit these crazies have talked up 10 pages since the last time I was here...hell I'll never catch -up!" and not bother...So *shouts* anyone out there? Come on down!
