That's also a great story! Yeah, read both! Good thing, they are very different so you won't mix them up...  ;)

I'm home again!!! A flood day - woohoo!!! Drove into town, and turned around just before they closed the highway.

Remember last week when I was complaining about how dry it was here...now we're in flood!

Remember earlier this week when I was complaining about the other "drought" that I have been in...

Hello God...It's me, Astro. And while you're listening, I have another little favour... ;)

on that note, here he is with a someone I know I wouldn't give a second look, but has girls drooling.

That's Eddie Redmayne, right?

I don't get all the hype about him. I have been told that I have to watch Les Mis & that Marilyn Monroe movie to understand.

Hmm - I might watch some movies now that I'm flooded in and have nothing else to do - I left my work laptop at school last nght!  :D :D :D

Back to Eddie Redmayne - he's too weasel faced (not that we have weasels in Australia) and that "Rob circa Twilight" hairstyle...it's soooo yesterday  ::)!

Woo hoo - it was getting desperate!

And no - it's not Eddie Redmayne.

That's Garfield.

Eddie redmayne has a big mouth. Not proportional. I like him as JAck in the pillars of the earth. He just wasn't hot enough for jack.

Also, does anyone else here count their hair as their best feature? Whenever I say that people look at me like they feel bad that I hate my face when really I just love my hair! :o

I love my hair - most of the time! With all this rain and humidity, I kinda resemble Captain Caveman today

My hair is fine, but I have a lot of it and it is naturally very wavy, so I can straighten it or it holds a curl well.

I have no idea what my natural hair colour is anymore - I started colouring it at 17 for fashion, then had to start hiding the greys at 22 (thanks, Dad's f ucked up DNA! ) but my hairdresser is fantastic - I'm currently a light brown (which I think is close to my natural colour, with darker chocolate brown and mahogany foils and some caramel blond to blend the grey regrowth out a bit.

It's weird - I know my hair grows because I can see the regrowth and have to get my roots down every 4 weeks, but my hair takes forever to grow longer.

I'm just trawling FF at the moment looking for inspiration and am coming across lots of fics that are being re-posted.

What is going on??
A few I've checked out said they had a forbidden word or description in the summary.  So they clean up the summary and repost the story.  After having to wait 48 hours because their account has been suspended.  :banghead:

So, yeah, if your rating is wrong or you have an M rated summary, it will get pulled. Actually, I think the summaries have to be G rated or whatever that is in ff-speak.

You like the facial hair huh? >:D Lucky my Robporn folder is extensive!
Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

Oh Lauren - every day I fall in lust with you just a little bit more!

Or maybe it's just the pictures you post.  ;)

I actually do not like facial here AT ALL - but Rob pulls off the scruff so well and is maybe converting me.

However...

this...will never be sexy!

Sooo, I have a question...

Do you review the stories you read?

I'm following several WIPs where I review each chapter. Some authors are great and even answer to each review (and not only with a generic thank you). I really love those talks! When a story has several hundrets or thousands of reviews, I don't bother reviewing and I don't review completed stories, because I read them on my kindle and just forget to look them up...

Do you expect answers to your reviews?

Rarely, and I only started very recently.

Mostly, because I don't read WIPs but also because the teacher in me wants to point out every SPaG issue.

I've never had a response to a review.

This was during Cosmopolis promo, aka Rob's golden era! He was on point that whole time.

Also, shame on you because Eddie Redmayne is fiiiine and not at all like that scrawny hobo! His freckles make me want to do that eyebrow raise smiley you use.

I have my blonde mother's coloring (skin/eyes) with my brunette dad's hair. I don't tan at all.  I actually look better blonde than brunette.  But my mom's mother was a redhead, so I have enough coloring to do the red.  My family just is a little conservative....except my 16 year old niece - she changes her hair color constantly.  It was pink not too long ago.  I am a little jealous though.  Back when I was 16, I so wanted to do the funky hair colors.  But Catholic schools didn't allow it.  *mumbles something about frigging stupid rules and ugly-ass uniforms*

Though at least they let me wear make-up so I didn't look too much like my brother LOL!!! :D :D :D :D :57:

Every so often, I go colourful, but only chunky streaks. I went through a pink stage a few years ago and last winter my hairdresser did this awesome dark purple colour. The first time she did it with permanent colour and it washed out within a few days, so then she mixed permanent and semi together and it held really well.

I don't do funky colours in summer because my hair fades so quickly - I go really blonde, which I hate because it makes me look older, and in winter, I need something to brighten things up.

School kids are very honest in their appraisal - they can build you up or tear you down in one sentence! It's amazing how a 5yo can destroy your self-esteem!

I don't always review every chapter in a story.  The real long ones that I'm reading as a WIP? Yeah I review.  I would rather have another chapter than a response.  But the authors that do respond? Yeah, we sometimes have really good conversations.  I actually tend to comment more on the author's notes than on the chapters  :D :D :D

Though when I read on my Kindle or Nook? I try to go back at the end & review.  Unless it is a really bad story.  Then I don't say anything.  But I always figure a review is payment for the story.  The author gets to feel appreciated out of it and I get low cost reading material - if you count my time to write the review as a cost.

This is my new resolution - to write more reviews.

You've inspired me!

I didn't have a clue and felt stupid for needing to ask.   ^-^

Ok - I was stupid enough to ask.

So I'm in love with You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login right now. Bella is in love with Edward.. but he's a character in one of her books. I love the idea and her writing is so, so good. I can't believe it doesn't have more reviews.

That's about the only reason why I feel bad about not reading WIPs - if it's a good story, I'd like to give that feedback to the author.

This I can't answer.  Except for HMonster4 who had to delete her account for work reasons, but she came back a couple months ago because she is no longer involved with the company that made her remove all internet accounts.  Or something like that.

The remaining I can only assume. Maybe they tried to publish - publishers are known for making writers remove "free" writing from fanfiction. Or they could have been pulled during the mess last year & they are only now reposting a cleaned up version.
