Every so often, I go colourful, but only chunky streaks. I went through a pink stage a few years ago and last winter my hairdresser did this awesome dark purple colour. The first time she did it with permanent colour and it washed out within a few days, so then she mixed permanent and semi together and it held really well.

I don't do funky colours in summer because my hair fades so quickly - I go really blonde, which I hate because it makes me look older, and in winter, I need something to brighten things up.

School kids are very honest in their appraisal - they can build you up or tear you down in one sentence! It's amazing how a 5yo can destroy your self-esteem!

This is my new resolution - to write more reviews.

Well I do try and review, but I feel like my reviews aren't constructive or actually is more like: I get writer's block when reviewing 

You poms have the best insults and nicknames!

My sister brought back "fanta pants" and I taught her "ranga", both nicknames for red heads.

As in "When Ella colours her hair, she becomes a ranga...but she might not be a fanta pants unless she colours that too!"

ROFLMAO!!!! No hair dye is going anywhere near my hooha.  Though I may try some lemon juice sometime. 

My sticky-beak tendencies are in full force again...

How accurate am I?

I fear she's misunderstood the lemon = sex scenes in fanfic references
I think lemon juice lightens hair - though surely men would worry if you smelt zesty there?

Oh - I know.  I also inherited my Dad's grey DNA and have been going grey since 24.  I have to dye my hair and am seriously overdue at the moment.
This morning when I threatened my 6 year old son with a console ban he said, " oh be quiet, grey head ".
If only I could wallop him!
