Have woken up this morning to blue skies and internet access - although my phone is still not working . I still might not be able to get to work on Tuesday though - the flash flooding is receding, but then we're expecting river flooding from up north to hit in the next few days. More tornadoes over night just south of here!

There won't be any rain dances happening - I've seen enough rain in the last 3 days to last for quite a while! The weather has brought the neighbours together though - me and my neighbours on each side were in our backyards trying to figure out whose smoke alarm was going off, and whinging about the rain and the phones. We all ended up having a few beers on my back deck (what else can you do during a act of nature?) and plotting the death of the smoke alarm. Sexy Neighbour Boy does have an actual name!
