I'm 234 pages (out of 781) in and it is very strange.  Not overly angsty, but weird.
Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

Anyway, it is a good read so far but moving a little slow.  I just wish James would go away...

Back to twific topic, MissAlex just completed Frontline. I never believed she will repost and finish it, but she did as promised. And there might be even a sequel.  :-*

Morning, lovlies :)

Piercings on a man... any kind are hot. I want to fcuk a man with a c0ck piercing... they're just yummy.

King Albert was obvs a stud in bed or his past fcks taught him some stellar moves. Thank you Astro for that fine education.

Youtube is the best thing everrrr. Too bad some epic musicians made their way to myspace. Blech.

My view on ink... the more the better.

I've been reading nothing this weeked so thanks for all the recs etc.

Deranged Dreamer, I can finish them up if you want, no problem but if I haven't read the fic I'll need to do that first

i was thinking about this fic. Honestly i would have to re read it as well, since the last update was almost 3 years ago...

I read it a long time ago, it was a good story, complicated Edward with "issues", but I liked the intelligent writing and learned a lot about artists and art.

Really? It was one of those fics I just felt too stupid to read :D It's worth reading but I came away feeling like an uneducated loser!

Frontline - SO anti-climatic. Cannot believe it has nearly 15,000 reviews for such average writing! Overall it was an okay story but the ending felt so rushed. Definitely won't be reading the sequel.

Frontline sux and it has that many reviews cause she didn't take down the first chapter to keep the original reviews. The new chappies just added. I hated that fic and thought it a major waste of reading time.

I'll keep reading it.  Probably doesn't help that I have a bit of a headache that doesn't seem to want to go away.  The art part doesn't bother me as I read art books on occasion.  I'm a frustrated artist myself.  Unfortunately, I don't have much talent, except with Microsoft Paint. LOL!  So that part is really interesting.
Thanks  :-*

Isn't it one more reason to read a story - to learn something new? LOL, I sound like a teacher, I know. Work of Art was quite interesting for me to read. You are right, Frontline had an interesting start, the ending was full of action, which was O.K., but I expected more E/B drama...  :D

I think this is so amazing that you can do this.  I may have to review some of those not completed ones that I have been waiting to read....  Though this is probably better for actually abandoned fics.

I'm so disappointed about Frontline.  I had read the first chapter a long time ago when she was starting to repost & thought it was a great start.  But everything I hear moves it to the bottom of my reading list.  :-\

I guess it is but I read fic in my downtime from studying, I don't like to feel like I'm reading educational texts when trying to relax ;) It's more me being an ignorant half-brain than anything else :D

It feels like there are a lot more chapters building up to the action then there are chapters actually involving action, if that makes sense. The ending is basically 1 chapter which doesn't tie much up but then I like epilogues, so it could just be me. It's not awful but I definitely expected better given the number of reviews and the hype around it.

I think it was the hype surrounding it. It was very anti climactic and a bore to read. I guess I've ready waaay better and don't get the hoopla about this one.

I figure if a fic has been left for over two years it would be alright to create your own ending unless the author has flat out bounced like DN. That being said, I've seen a lot of authors come back and post a new chapter after a long period of time. Christ, I did it  :o

I've been busy reading a few of the recs given recently.  I feel a bit blah though as none of them has blown me away.

I am currently waiting for Semper Paratus - That Other May Live by Rainygirl1978 to finally come to an end.

I don't know - maybe I am expecting too much.

Perhaps you should go out of your comfort zone and read a different pairing to get your mind on something else? Or... even more provocative - read a real book? *runs and hides*  ;)

Blasphemy!!

I haven't read a real book for over two years and I don't intend to start now!

I just need to find a completed fic that grabs me and doesn't let go - I have hope.

I've only got 5 more chapters to read - I'll see it through before I look for anything else - but thanks.   :)

OK I finished it and to be honest I thought the ending was rushed.  It's not one I would recommend - the pacing was all wrong to me.
