Are you sure it is NFSW and not NSFW?
If so, it means Not Safe/Suitable for Work.

Another one bites the dust lol. Ok Miss Angst Hoor, what's the angsty-est story you've read?

There are a few... High Anxiety, EP, well sort of, it was more drama for me, Loner as well but as of right now probably Just Wait, that fic was brutal. I know there are more but I like hardcore, break your heart, pull your gut out angst. Not too many fics out there like that. What some people would call angsty probably doesn't have the best angst. The more heartfail the better :)

OK - time to rant.

I have just finished watching Top Gun and then an advert came on.

Love honey 50 shades of grey approved by E L James - complete with handcuffs and floggers - WTF???

Does the woman not not know what kind of hell she has unleashed?

Stupid witch.   >:(

I'm reading Spoonful of Lemon and I'm a little confused...

Has anyone read this? It's not a great read as there are term inconsistencies that drive me nuts.

Ex:: he's wearing button fly jeans but he adjusted himself in his trousers. To me this means dress pants not sure why it bugs me but it does. Also she always updates her FB status. How is this or is she thinking it?

I've not read the fic, but the author is a Kiwi, and in Aus, NZ and the UK trousers mean any kind of long garment worn on the legs, be they jeans or suit trousers or corduroys or work trousers; whatever. In the UK (and to a lesser extent Aus & NZ) pants refers to someone's underpants.

As for the FB status, if she has a smartphone it's probably on that. I know a couple of people who are constantly updating FB wherever they are, just to make sure we have an exact breakdown of their day and whatever the hell they're thinking as they live it.

"Just wait" was brutal, I agree. I like Expectations and Other Moving pieces by chrometurtle. It's WIP and was on hiatus, but there were some new chapters in December, so I hope it will be updated sometime soon...  >:D It's not about teenagers, E&B are already married and have "issues", a mysterious past that is revealed bit by bit and a steady level of angst. The writing is very good, I just hope that it will be finished soon.

I like E&OMP as well but I need to re read it. With her personal hiatus I forgot what's going on. It's angsty but not enough for what I like to read. IDK, maybe I need to tone down my angst wishes.

I can't stand much more angst than  E&OMP, I don't like to be depressed by fiction. Real life has much more angst sometimes, so I prefer "rainbows" and happy endings in fiction. LOL.  :-*

I used to be like that, but the first fic I read had me snot nose bawling my eyes out. Kinda found the type I like and decided to stick with them instead of fluffy :)

Yes I agree - but to be honest it's not like she'll give a shite.

I've heard of riding on someone else's coat-tails to get ahead but this is taking the piss.

I wasn't around when MoTU was, but, it was one of the ones I thought I had to read - when I did I thought the writing was dog crap.
Admittedly, I didn't think HH was the dogs bollocks either - although she was much better than 'icy'.

I cannot believe out of all the brilliant authors and stories out there that this was the one that took off.  Absolute BS.

OK - I think the rant is nearly over.   ;)

its making me really hungry, even tho i wouldnt eat half of the stuff they are cooking.

The series where they are in Seattle just started here last week. Is that the most current one?

I was very proud of myself when I knew where they are talking about, and even used the term "Pacific North West" with confidence when we were watching it - everyone thought I was so smart...I couldn't admit I only knew because I read Twific!

We have so many cooking shows that come from o/s! We also have Aussie versions too - Masterchef (+ Professional/Junior, etc), Come Dine With Me, etc are some of the highest rating shows here!

Do you have My Kitchen Rules?

Teams of 2 from all over the country open a "restaurant" in their home and have to cook a 3 course meal. The judges (Manu [french accent!!!] & Pete who both are just worth watching without all the cooking!) and the other teams come to the house and then score the meal and then the top teams do elimination challenges until only one team is left. I like it because they're all just home cooks and you can actually make the food they cook yourself! And because of Manu & Pete  ;)

I do want to punch that the really young bitchy guy (from 1:27) - and to make it worse, he's from Queensland too! Oh, the shame!

Hang on - you have ads for that on TV?

American celebs are always amazed that we can say f*ck on Aussie tv but I don't think I've ever seen an ad for sex toys on Aussie tv!

And ELJames would sell her own "inner goddess" if she thought she'd make money!

I can't stand reality cooking shows. The cattiness is brutal and shameful. I get it's a great opportunity but they all behave like juveniles.
