Does SM get a cut though?

I don't think so. It was FF and it was EL's story. No vamps etc. I hope she does cause SM deserves it.

Hang on - you have ads for that on TV?

American celebs are always amazed that we can say f*ck on Aussie tv but I don't think I've ever seen an ad for sex toys on Aussie tv!

And ELJames would sell her own "inner goddess" if she thought she's make money!

Yeah it was the cheesy music and sensual voice showing handcuffs, floggers and steel balls.  Ferking ridiculous.  The F word can only be used after the watershed.  (9.30pm)

The series where they are in Seattle just started here last week. Is that the most current one?

I was very proud of myself when I knew where they are talking about, and even used the term "Pacific North West" with confidence when we were watching it - everyone thought I was so smart...I couldn't admit I only knew because I read Twific!

We have so many cooking shows that come from o/s! We also have Aussie versions too - Masterchef (+ Professional/Junior, etc), Come Dine With Me, etc are some of the highest rating shows here!

Do you have My Kitchen Rules?

Teams of 2 from all over the country open a "restaurant" in their home and have to cook a 3 course meal. The judges (Manu [french accent!!!] & Pete who both are just worth watching without all the cooking!) and the other teams come to the house and then score the meal and then the top teams do elimination challenges until only one team is left. I like it because they're all just home cooks and you can actually make the food they cook yourself! And because of Manu & Pete  ;)

I do want to punch that the really young bitchy guy (from 1:27) - and to make it worse, he's from Queensland too! Oh, the shame!

I believe I will be downloading lots of cooking shows in the future. Maybe next month I have a limit on how much I can dl.

I can't stand reality cooking shows. The cattiness is brutal and shameful. I get it's a great opportunity but they all behave like juveniles.

I love the cattiness!!! But I respect a lot more people who say they are there to win and not make friends. Cause the others are just hypocrites, they are backstabbing instead of "front stabbing".

I just finished season 2.

I've not read the fic, but the author is a Kiwi, and in Aus, NZ and the UK trousers mean any kind of long garment worn on the legs, be they jeans or suit trousers or corduroys or work trousers; whatever. In the UK (and to a lesser extent Aus & NZ) pants refers to someone's underpants.

As for the FB status, if she has a smartphone it's probably on that. I know a couple of people who are constantly updating FB wherever they are, just to make sure we have an exact breakdown of their day and whatever the hell they're thinking as they live it.

What she said re trousers/pants/duds, etc. Some people FB or twitter everything they do - here is a photo of my lunch, I just saw a dog, i have a pimple on my chin, I just took a dump, etc  :pulling

I like E&OMP as well but I need to re read it. With her personal hiatus I forgot what's going on. It's angsty but not enough for what I like to read. IDK, maybe I need to tone down my angst wishes.

Or perhaps you could channel your angst into your writing (*cough stillwaitingonBAtBendingandCustomsward cough*)

Omg!! Don't get me started on her inner goddess.
You know what pi.ss.es me off? Other twi fic authors that liked 50 shades or MOTU and have their version of inner godess. So effing annoying.

This shit worries me. This is going to the public who, a majority of which, have no experience in BDSM and shouldn't even be using these items. This is very bad and EL should be ashamed of herself.

She didn't do the proper research on BDSM and this is a very dominant character, not a DOM! What a b!tch and she should know better! DISGUSTING!

"Just wait" was brutal, I agree. I like Expectations and Other Moving pieces by chrometurtle. It's WIP and was on hiatus, but there were some new chapters in December, so I hope it will be updated sometime soon...  >:D It's not about teenagers, E&B are already married and have "issues", a mysterious past that is revealed bit by bit and a steady level of angst. The writing is very good, I just hope that it will be finished soon.

I'm WIP phobic but would love to know when it's finished ;)

You are right. I need to finish BAtB up. Still waiting on Customsward to come back to me are shiny and shit.

I hate FB and will never use it again. I am however pondering Twitter again.

There are a few... High Anxiety, EP, well sort of, it was more drama for me, Loner as well but as of right now probably Just Wait, that fic was brutal. I know there are more but I like hardcore, break your heart, pull your gut out angst. Not too many fics out there like that. What some people would call angsty probably doesn't have the best angst. The more heartfail the better :)

The reason I ask is because I'm in desperate need of some heart ache. I've read too much sweet and fluffy and need some angst to clean my palette lol!

Edit: I've read HA and EP so will start one of the other two. If you remember anymore let me know :-*

Laurendeplume recommended a story by this writer earlier - check her out the writing is brilliant.

I think...hope...that most of the people who really got off on FSoG are those silly giggly women that I want to punch that would only walk into an adult shop with a whole group of silly giggly women and then think that they're "naughty" because they bought a bottle of lube and a blindfold!

You know - the ones that squeal if they see a penis straw at a hen's night and then think it's funny and flirty to show it to every guy in the club - whilst squealing and giggling like 5 year old girls.

I don't think that they would actually use it as an instruction manual.

I f*cking hate women like that! I want to shove that penis straw into their ears and suck out their minuscule sexually frustrated brains!

And how are these stupid bitches usually married and I can't find anyone!!!

OK - deep breath...rant over.

I think I may have a slight anger issue today

It's cool. I know that a lot of men bought the books so their women can explore. This is what I'm talking about. It's not the women who worry me, it's the men who think that they are going to get freaky in bed. Reading and doing are two completely different things.

It's ok to be ragey, bb  :-* :-*
