I just heard about this on a podcast as I was driving home from work. Those of you with concerns about FSoG might have reason to worry:

Here's the excerpt of "man assaults girlfriend with steak sauce" (saucy condiment indeed and her last name is McCormick, how ironic ;D )

When Emma McCormick, of Carlisle, UK, read aloud passages from her copy of Fifty Shades to her long-term boyfriend Raymond Hodgson, he wasn’t thrilled about hearing McCormick narrate the book’s racy scenes of bondage and seduction. Hodgson, 31, later told authorities that he thought the book was “pornographic” and “distasteful” and didn’t feel it was appropriate for McCormick to read it. He was so bothered, he drove to McCormick’s home the following day and, armed with a bottle of steak sauce, resumed the argument. The fight escalated until Hodgson pulled out the bottle and squirted it in McCormick’s face. He reportedly said he wanted to show her what ‘saucy’ really meant.

Ha ha, we see what you did there — but McCormick and the Carlisle authorities were not particularly amused. Hodgson has been charged with common assault; according to prosecutors, he not only attacked his girlfriend with the condiment but also slapped her in the face. Though he denies striking McCormick, Hodgson pleaded guilty to the premeditated saucing.

Ignoring the alleged slap which is obviously bad, this is hilarious! 'Premeditated saucing' is surely not a term often used by police? :D

Also, I saw a fic rec'd over on TLS that looked interesting, then found out the author posts ~1000 word chapters once every two weeks. I'll have stopped reading Twific before that finishes!

...again! I just going to say right now, that I have not read all 79085376 pages of past posts to catch-up. All who don't mind that say "Yea!" I have an odd half hour and catching up will mean I won't actually have time to say hello to you all, by the time I read all your chatty posts my half hour will be up!  :D

So, what's the goss? Oh! One thing I did notice is that li' ol' Booked has made contact with MFHD hismself! Booky Booked you naughty thing you! Will you be starring in his next film?

I have managed to read quite a bit on my travels, plus the less time I spend gossiping on here the more time there is for other activities, right? I read Darla Phelps' Pet trilogy; yes, the trilogy that was copied word for word in Across The Universe by angelanharvey3, and I mean word for word this wasn't fan fiction it was straight -up plagiarism,  :D it'd be funny if it wasn't so wrong! They were rather disturbing in a kinky, hot, way...I'd recommend them; I downloaded them from here (PTS)..can't link today I'm on my iphone...stick Darla Phelps in the search and it'll come up...Darkness by Cherryblossomz. wanted to smack down Bella, and Edwards wasn't all that, but as a flounce p.ussy I kept at it til the end, and then slashed my wrists...Withering the Ferns by AngstGoddess003, waste of time IMO but as it was rather short not too much of a one....Sexy Silk by jiho, which proved once and for all that I hate any kind of "inner Goddess"...phuck! Running commentary, inner, but separate,  monologues are pants!  Major Misconduct by M7707, HS fic for those who like that sort of thing, no real angst, (that I can remember, but I must admit my fic brain is turning to mush with all the fics running into each other on a continuous loop) and I am now almost at the end of Mask of Indifference by Isabella N Edward..unwitting Dadward, again OK but will not set Fic world on fire...far from it.

So SavvyB, it looks like you're going to get you wish with that Dusty POV outtake...or is that my wish? Any, whatever another one is in the works...

Has anyone seen Les Mis ? It's really good, loved Ann Hathaway in this and she is by far not my favourite actress and Django In Chains? Fantastic...Lincoln is next up (shhh, I get them from a friend who's a Bafta member on DVD, she get them for consideration for the awards)

What's this about saucy sauce and FSOG? Will the madness of those books ever end?!

Yeah, I want a Dusty Outtake because it needs it. I'm ok with how it ended but I need moar from him. All those fics you read I've read on. Sexy silk. Withering the Ferns I couldn't get into. Really different than her other fic but the name is alluding me at the moment.
FSoG is stupid and I knew this would happen. EL is laughing about this. Effing b*tch.

WHEN you win the lottery you need to start your own production company and get Rob to star in your favorite twific.  Then we'll all come live with you and be your "staff" while you film this ridiculously looooooonnnnngggg movie!   :D

I am at chapter 18 of 69  :)  and am seriously doubting I will finish this one as it is so long winded.

I finished this one and really wish I hadn't bothered - the plot was not really believable and very slow going.

This is a little bit different and I am enjoying it so far - I am at chapter 9 of 34.

I'm trying to read CW&IA.  I'm bored with it.

Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

I just want to say "get over it!"  Maybe I'm just having a hard time getting into it - it's not feeling like angst. I'm just annoyed.  Actually I think it's because I'm getting guilt from both of them not sadness.   >:(

So tell me if it gets any better because I'm ready to flounce.  Normally, I would feel bad for both of them.  But for some reason? The way it was written? I'm really having trouble feeling sympathetic.  And now I'm feeling guilty LOL! ;D
