I'm trying to read CW&IA.  I'm bored with it.

I just want to say "get over it!"  Maybe I'm just having a hard time getting into it - it's not feeling like angst. I'm just annoyed.  Actually I think it's because I'm getting guilt from both of them not sadness.   

So tell me if it gets any better because I'm ready to flounce.  Normally, I would feel bad for both of them.  But for some reason? The way it was written? I'm really having trouble feeling sympathetic.  And now I'm feeling guilty LOL!

I think I am one of the only people in the fandom who wasn't blown away by this fic. 

I would say finish it as then you can always say you have read it.
 
It is miles better than a lot of the crap I have read since though.

So, what's the goss? Oh! One thing I did notice is that li' ol' Booked has made contact with MFHD hismself! Booky Booked you naughty thing you! Will you be starring in his next film?

Has anyone seen Les Mis ? It's really good, loved Ann Hathaway in this and she is by far not my favourite actress and Django In Chains? Fantastic...Lincoln is next up (shhh, I get them from a friend who's a Bafta member on DVD, she get them for consideration for the awards)

What's this about saucy sauce and FSOG? Will the madness of those books ever end?!

I can only fantasize to do MFHD, but if by strange cosmic/outofthisworld chance i do have my chance, i certainly won't ever be filming it 

I liked Sexy Silk, am an actorward fan    major misconduct has been bumped up my TBR list along with Spy Games but I always get distracted with some other fic...maybe this weekend.

Loved Les Miserable, Ann Hathaway and Hugh Jackman deserve an Oscar. Don't like Amanda seyfried's singing voice, quite annoying. Django was also very good, Tarantino is one sick genius. I also watched Warm Bodies, quite funny, not at all what I expected of a zombie film.

Am thinking until the FSoG films come out, the hoopla about it will not die down anytime soon. with all these news articles about BDSM gone wrong, I just wish the people do their research so they don't end up messing relationships and hurting other people. 

 

I read it all in one shot, and I loved it, I adored this Edward. Then again, I'm an angst whoore, so no surprise there.

See, I don't mind angst, but I'm not getting the angst yet.  Sigh. And the Edward is not really the problem for me. I'm just finding this Bella to be really annoying.  Years of Catholic guilt drummed into me, I guess - guilt annoys me.  It is not angsty.  She is not sad.  She is not angry, She feels guilty because she didn't die. 

And maybe I'm just burned out...

I'll keep reading it I guess. Hopefully, I will get the angst. 

I'm in an epic fic funk. I'm re reading Dusty. I cannot for the life of me find something to hold my interest. It sucks

I know I'm watching Master Chef reruns  Instead of reading something.

Have been on the same boat the past few weeks hence been reading one shots only and *gasp* real books. I am a wuss for angst/epic heart fails so I don't think I will ever get around to reading Dusty after hearing comments about the ending 

Today, am excited for Olivia Cunning's Hot ticket to come out! Am also looking forward to the following sequels coming out this year:

Entwined with You - Sylvia Day
reckless - S.C. stephens

I also like Colleen Hoover's works.

Also going to read Beautiful Bastard 1 and 2 by Christina Lauren bec the Office is one of my top 5 fanfics 

I legit don't get what's so great about the office, but again people say that about EP and it's my number one. I should read a real book. Switch shit up a bit

I'm having to reread the last chapter LOL!

I think her eyes are green but I get what you're saying  Some of the changes make it difficult to buy into without making you cringe or liken them to another to another character. I loved Dusty but I think seriously almost everyone was blonde  I read one with a natural blonde and blue eyed Bella recently that I don't mind though because it was the authors own story so when she posted she couldn't change much about it because the hair and eye color play a large role in her original plot. But yeah, fics with descriptions of ExB that make them look like Jake, Leah or someone else from the plot are a tad weird to read.   

LOL! She actually said she pictured her character as Kristen - I'm guessing from On the Road movie.  I just don't picture Bella as Kristen at all. She's more a young Anne Hathaway or that girl in the Vampire Diaries.  I could probably handle Edward with Brown hair and topaz eyes, but the description she used was totally Taylor Lautner.  So why not make it a Bella -Jacob story.  Just saying.  I just really wanted to read it because it was a football story   Actually I'm kind of confusing 2 different stories there.

So SavvyB, it looks like you're going to get you wish with that Dusty POV outtake...or is that my wish? Any, whatever another one is in the works...

I'm getting tired of having to watch decent movies via a cam-corder that I have d/l'ed!

Honestly - this is one of the most annoying things about living in regional Australia - if...yes, if we get a quality movie, it only plays for a really short period of time. That bloody Justin Beiber movie played for months, but I'd bet we don't even get Lincoln! Les Mis is a bit too cultured for this part of the world - Bridesmaids is a bit too cultured for this part of the world!!!

I d/l'ed Magic Mike last year (not what I'd call a quality movie, but it was sold out for weeks and I'd heard that the cinema was full of horny women screaming so loudly every time they saw man-skin that you couldn't even hear what was going on - not my idea of a good movie night!) and halfway through, the bloke sitting beside the "cameraman" said "I'm going to take a piss" and walked in front of the camera. It was the funniest part of the whole movie - I watched it a dozen times and laughed each time - and laughed again when he came back from  the toilet 25 minutes later!

I read CW&IA as a WIP, and I think that can significantly change the way you read a fic.  With my rusty memory, I think of it as being one of the "great" fics but you, Rickell and Demaris all struggled with it. I think I'm going to have to re-read it.

I can't imagine the movie will be much like the books - they won't be able to show too much s ex or the BDSM stuff unless they go for an R rating.

My latest problem with fics is that they want to change what B& E look like....WTF?  I tried to read this one story and Edward has Black hair and black eyes with bronze skin....can we say Jacob?  And Bella has black hair and black eyes...can we say Leah?  Yeah this is not an E/B fic as far as I'm concerned.

Then another one wanted Bella with blue eyes and dyed blond hair - so she looks like Kristen. Yeah, no.

Okay I will end rant here....

TeamBella23 does that a bit - I really struggled with it when I read Revelry - that was the first non-Rob Edward that I read, but then I just forgot about it. It didn't bother me at all in Dusty.

Bella is never Slapped Arse Face - Bella is kind of just a faceless woman in fics - a bit like SAF, actually!

LOL that's a little hilarious...its like she recast them to suit the couple/actors she wanted to see in the roles. Anyway, to each their own. I mix fics up all the time  don't sweat it, I forget their names sometimes too and have to go hunting to find them. I wouldn't want to read this fic either with that description...no offense to the author
