My girlfriend is in Sydney at moment, she say's its unbearably hot, she can't wait to come home tomorrow! Personally I always think the hotter the better but that is because I live in a country where summer is non-existent...

This made me laugh out loud! It's like my mu who says " I can still wear a size 8", but then insists on wearing elasticated wait skirts, the two just does not make sense!

I've been told that Hugh Jackman bats for the other side, that can't be right, can it?!

I think he is married with kids, which is why he did Real Steel.  It was so his kids could actually watch him in a film.  Any guy who can just break into song has to have question marks around him though!  Hope in Hells chance of my fella doing it.  Whilst I'm thinking about it he wouldn't wear lycra/spandex either.

No. Just no.

And if you spread nasty, malicious rumours like that, you'll never get an Australian visa!

Although he does give good musical...

Yep, that's how I learnt too, but she turns into some weird demon octopus spider monkey thing with hands everywhere clinging onto anything.

And the screaming! You'd think someone was slitting her throat!

Her 3yo brother just jumps in, no dramas, even when he sinks like a stone.

20 years of teaching and she is THE most stubborn child I have ever come across. Apparently, she gets it from me - I see her like twice a year - but she's also met her match, which is why I got her doing more than anyone else ever - she's been going to swimming lessons since she was 6 months old!!!

I'm sorry, I'm not laughing at you, just remembering my head going under whilst my son sat on it.  He is 6 and not swimming properly yet.  It is too much hard work.  At least you are in the privacy of your own pool.  I have that at the public baths.

yes, he's married.  On Graham Norton's NYE show, he actually talked about how he wooed his wife, then gf.  It was great.  He was going to cook for her or something, but they never made to the kitchen.  ;)  Can't remember exact details.  My friends and I took a shot every time Graham giggled.  I don't recall how the show ended

Errr? Being married with kids isn't a fail-safe to someone's sexuality, look at the Oprah Couch Jumping man! or Rock Hudson  :D :D  Though I must admit, I wanted to punch someone when I heard that; all I could think of was, no! Not Wolverine! NO!  :banghead:

We had a fire across the bay on Bribie Island (there is a fanfic called Bribie and set there, that I'm following) last night so we've been dealing with a lot of smoke.

Hope you and the other lovely Aussie ladies are doing ok, especially with all that smoke.  Having lived in Southern CA, I know the smoke and the ash can be horrible.  I always know which drivers aren't from CA though, because they're the ones with the windows down while they're driving on the freeways.   :o

Holy frik, WORD!

Men in stretchy material is wrong on so so many levels, just gross.   :sign0137: :sign0137: Spandex wasn't even cool in the 80's.

I don't know Michael Phelps is stretchy Speedos? I could very easily DO.

Yeah, we decided to start the NYE celebrations a week early starting with Graham NYE show.  I don't know which dumbass (probably me) decided to use his giggle, because the man is always giggling.  I love it though.  I'm disappointed that I've been to the London area 4 times in the last 5 years for work and haven't had the time to go to his show once.   :(

Oh I remember seeing the size of his hands and going into shock when I saw his face - SUCH a shame.  He could work wonders if you kept your eyes shut!  Sorry if if I have offended anyone.

No, I haven't watched Alan Carr yet!  I've only watched clips of episodes from YouTube.  He's not on BBC America or any channel/station in the U.S. yet  :(

I'm sorry I didn't realise you were across the Atlantic.  It seems really strange talking to people from 3 continents at the same time!
