I emailed the project supervisor for the group learning project and she said my 'experience sounds great' and she 'will happily accept' me! Ahhhh. Hopefully in a few days once the admin has been taken care of it'll be official, but for now things look very promising. I am currently showing my young age and jumping up and down and squealing!

I just realised that I haven't seen Ellachanted here for a few days.

I hope she hasn't become too caught up in her Cougar Life or run off with the Christian Singles that keep emailing her!

LOL! gone for a week and you are only now missing me?

I was stuck in North Carolina for a week.  This is not saying anything bad about North Carolina.  It was a work training - usually a really fun thing. But one of the guys I only see at training decided to latch on to me and he was driving me batty.  And we didn't have a car to go anywhere.  I just escaped to my room to read the Angel series as soon as I can.  A frustrating/tiring week all around.  I really missed you all. 

And now 22 pages to catch up - well  more to go.... I'm skimming.  I'm at the discussion about family members' love lives.  My dad says they never actually had sex.  Not sure how they had all of us kids.  MY mom, however, complains that my dad's blood pressure medicine killed their sex life.  I decided not to mention all the other things they could do.... but then when they grew up, kids went blind from....hmm, not sure if I can say that word here.... having fun with yourself? Or mutually?

And really, though my mom & I are good friends, I don't want to think about that....

Thanks so much for all the Robporn.  I don't care about all the SFA stuff, he still is hawt.  I figure when he finds someone better - well almost anyone is better - she will be gone.

Ella - I missed you earlier.  I just didn't say anything.  Too bad you missed the Smite Wars.  But PURPLE TEAM won!  We showed the rest of PTS the power of the Twilight fanfic fans.  Yay!

Has anyone read The Host?

I read it ages ago - it was alright, took me about 100 pages to actually get into it though.
If you've got nothing else to read give it a go but otherwise there's better books out there.
