Hey Mernzi! I keep missing you on here! You're just down the road and I hardly ever run into you!

I just saw on the Weather Channel that another heat wave is heading for Sydney.

Better stock up on the icy poles!

I'm still here! Still trying to catch up but my phone hotspot is really slow on my iPad so I waited for mum to leave home and now I'm in air conditioned goodness and fast cable!!

Icy poles, frosty fruits, zooper doopers and a few mango weiss just in case lol

You do realise that, with big boobs, you need more than a supportive husband? That's the easy part - it's finding a supportive bra that is the hard part!

and the two hunky guys from The Host, Max Irons and Jake Abel will there too!

It's a book signing promo for the movie coming out, and all three will be there. Stephanie is going to personalize our copies of The Host and then we can also have her sign another of her books. I'm taking Twilight or Breaking Dawn...not sure which one yet. I'm going at the behest of a friend who does this kind of thing all the time, but all of a sudden I find myself really excited to see her.

I definitely will! I was just thinking about the fact that if I hadn't picked up Twilight and read the series and gone looking for more after the G-rated finale, I would never have found fanfics, rediscovered my love of reading, and met so many awesome people here and on other fan sites. She really changed my life! OK, I'm a cheeseball now!

I haven't read The Host. My daughter did and she didn't make it sound particularly appealing. So I passed. Besides, by then, I was busy reading the Twilight books over and over again. That was before I found fanfiction.
