Hi.   I was wondering if you could recommend some of the best non canon Twilight fics you've read.  I have read a few like a Murmur of Fire in the Vein by ElleC, Colliding Meteors by idreamofeddy, and When Darkness Turns to Light by jannabanana.   I remember a year or two ago reading a Bella and Peter wip - on twcs maybe? -  where Bella's a gun-toting, whiskey or bourbon drinking, smoking vampire shooting loner living in a small house in the middle of nowhere and is found by vampires Peter and Garrett, but I don't recall anything after that.   I know it was a wip, but I forgot about it and now sometimes wonder about it..  I also recall a Bella and Carlisle fic that was pretty good, but I can't remember the title.  This fic had Edward and Esme dying and after some time passes, Bella and Carlisle end up together and everyone is okay with it, except when Kate? visits and cause some trouble.  I think Bella and Carlisle ended up getting married anyway.

So someone or everyone could recommend the best non canon couple fics they've read.  I'll take any pairing, because I love when an author can make me disregard canon coupling because the story is just so good.  I'll take crossover recommendations too.  Thanks in advance.

May I suggest you look back through this thread, there are many excellent non canon posted here.  I recognise some of the stories you mention and again are posted here but I cannot remember the name 's off hand.  One of my fav's is Running and that you will find here also. 

The only Peter/Bella fic I know of that has Garrett involved is A Crimson Change by rubiconqueen.  Bella works in a bar and has a bit of a mouth on her. This is where she meets Garrett who then asks her to meet Peter. She lives alone in a house out of town. I don't recall her having a gun, or smoking, but she does like a drink. Doesn't fit exactly with what you asked for, but is a really good read, so you might want to check it out. The story was pulled in August but you can find a copy here:

I was trying so hard to remember the author's name it is Hammerhips and the fic is Whiskey and Spitfire.  It is imcomplete but you can find a copy on page 13 of this thread.

 I was trying to remember a BxJ fic I read a while back, it was a vampfic, and all I really remember are a couple of scenes with Jasper driving with Bella in his lap, or Bella driving with Jasper in the seat behind her, helping her control the car. I think it was because it was a car they had stolen that was a classic muscle car, with a lot of power(maybe a GTO?), hard for Bella to handle on her own. And that's all I can really remember, any help? I'm gonna ask on the non-canon thread too.

I'm pretty sure Bella started out as human in the fic I'm thinking of. I know it's marked as read in my Calibre, I was just hoping someone here recognized it, and would save me the trouble of clicking every BxJ fic I've read, since I've read a bunch now.

LOL I will do. I imported all the BxJ vamp fics I remember reading that I'm not sure about back onto my tablet. If I know for sure it's not it, I didn't add it, like Leaves of Grass.

I think I remember this Jasper being more wild and crazy, I think I remember the fic being more similar to Colliding Meteors in tone. I hate that that's just about all I remember though.
