Twilight Fanfiction Non Canon, AU, e.g. not the usual pairings - just so we are clear this means stories that do not have as lead pairings such Edward/Bella, Rosalie/Emmett or Alice/Jasper. Or as the dictionary says about non canon "A word used by those who write fanfiction. It refers to a pairing etc. that was not promoted in the original work the fanfiction was based on." There are Jasper/Bella or Bella/Emmett or Edward/Jasper fics here but feel free to add your own non-cannon stories.

I don't know why she goes to the trouble of reposting so often, if it's not finished yet. Finish it, THEN repost it in it's entirety!

Still, fingers crossed!

She is up to chapter 25 already, this is where it left off last time. She said she was reworking each chapter so she has got this far in little over a week. So now we will see, if and when chapter 26 appears??? Fingers crossed ...... but not holding breath!!!

Yes, been following it as a WIP. Well written, mcangel is a good writer. Starts off in a very different place and grabs your interest, and there is real mystery, but trails off towards the end. Last few chapters seemed like it was stretched out to find a convient place to end. Might be different reading as a completed fic. Not the greatest I have read, but definitely better than some. Cauis turns out to be a good guy in this. Also quite a few OC's. Thanks for putting the link up

Oh no she didn't. Yep she did. IdreamofEddy took Orbiting Meteors to Chapter 25, which is what we had before and now she is re-posting Colliding Meteors which is up to Chapter 3 already. On her profile she said that she would probably finish Orbiting before she started posting Colliding.

So no new chapter of Orbiting. Wonder if there ever will be? Looks like you might be right Matron cos if she had new chapters written like she said (75% finished) she would have put them up. Like you said, just re-posting previous stuff though she said she was editing them. Not read any of the "new" Orbiting because I am waiting for the whole thing which she said was one more chapter and an epi for Oribiting.

Don't hold your breath guys, this could be another false start. Hope I am wrong and the last 2 Chapters of Orbiting are up soon.

Agreed, I've waited for Orbiting Meteors to finish so many times. I've never read it because I knew it was unfinished. Sadly I started reading it the other day when she started to re-post it. I thought the same thing as soon as I saw the notifications! Now, I'm all for reading an edited and cleaned up Colliding, you'd still think she would have finished up Orbiting first, if it's REALLY almost done.

When I first read them years ago they were both as they are now. Colliding was finished and Orbiting was at chapter 25. At the time I thought they were brilliant, one of my first forays into the world of non-canon.

So many other writers have referred to Colliding in Jasper fics and used things that IdreamofEddy first coined, God of War for example. When I finally decided I wanted to read the story again it had disappeared which is how I ended up here because I was searching for it. When I read it after getting the download on here from Caro I was so disappointed. I had read so much non-canon by then it just wasn't the great story I remembered it as.

So the same is true for for me with Orbiting. I love Peter fics, but honestly it didn't seem very exciting to me after other fics I have read when I re-read it, but I have always wanted to know how it would turn out. I think both these stories are ones you have to read if you like non-canon. They were the bench mark of the Jasper/Bella and Peter/Bella fics of the time. I don't know if it's because better writers have come along, or if it's just that I have read so much non-canon now, but they don't pull me in like they did all that time ago.

I think if you read Colliding when it is finally finished you will see what I mean. Hopefully it will read better if she has edited it as she promised. If you had started with these, as I did, then you would probably think they were really good, but since you have read loads of non-canon now you may just find them average.

...Stumbled across this the other day, and it is really good so far! I've read VampSaxAngel's stuff before, and I've never really been disappointed, but this is definitely one of her better stories, or at least that's how it's looking. It's super interesting! Check it out if you think it looks interesting. I just figured it would be cool to post this because this writer really doesn't get the attention she deserves.

Yes, what I've read so far is good. I love Peter. Sadly it is a bit long winded? She is VERY descriptive in this fic and while that isn't bad I do find myself skipping over some paragraphs b/c I get a little bored.

Are there any good Peter/Bella fics you can rec me? I'm always happy to read a new story. Acutally, I'd love to get some Emmett/Bella stories as well.

I too felt I had to read Colliding Meteors after everyone said it was the go to story for ALL Jasper/Bella fics and how it was this story that proclaimed Jasper the God of War and Peter as "just knowing shit". I didn't care for CM all that much. I've found other Jasper/Bella fics that are MY go to J/B stories for example Leaves of Grass by Nauticalmass and Midnight Margaritas by Writerwithabite and definitely Slow and Steady by LilyoftheValley77. Those stories I can go back and read over and over again and just love them as much if not more each time I read them.
