SnowWhiteHeart(s) is on the opt out list, to see who else is on the list just search for opt out list. I will check what I have to see if there are other stories.

I didn't think there was an opt out list any longer. The note under the opt out list notice, posted by jessadia, on May 26, 2012 says:

They removed this topic and then put it back so I just took it for granted that we were still following the fanfiction author's wishes since they were included on the opt out list.

I really do not want to upset a fanfiction writer today, even one who pulled her own stories.

The only SnowWhiteHeart I have that you did not post is Crotches on fire - a one shot.

Yes, I like the fact that other sites have fanfiction. My first fanfiction was back in 2000 and it took awhile to figure it all out, but there was a site called adultfanfiction that had the smut as it was not accepted on FF. That has changed a lot, but they are still purging. It might not be here, but it can be found. There is more smut, erotica, and pron than any other thing on the internet.

So true avag and it is unfortunate that so many people don't respect others people taste and preferences in fanfiction regardless if they agree or not but sadly that is the world we live in.

Wow, avag I feel so old compare to you. I got into fanficton in the early 90s. I won't say what year because a lady never state her age.

But back in the days it was so simple if you came across a fanfic you didn't like for whatever reason you hit the back button or read it and learn something.

Knowledge is power and the fact that sex is just a dubious topic scare people. Most of the time the people that criticize fanfiction that is full of smut, erotica, etc are the ones that read it the most. That always been my experience.

So in a way we should feel sorry for them because they probably are repressed and unhappy in many areas of their lives beside the obvious. It is easier to make up excuses and make others people unhappy than to accept the truth and try to change themselves.
Their like those individuals that hate homosexuals but feel an attraction for them. Rather then accept themselves as they are, they rather spread hate.

Wow, I went on a tangent there but this sort of thing is what is killing the fanfiction world as a whole and you can argue killing humanity too. Remember that song by Bobby McFerrin, "Don't Worry, Be Happy." Best way to get back at haters is showing you don't care.

It amuses me that you might feel "old" compared to me. The only reason I read my first fanfiction in 2000 was because I first heard of it then. I have lead a very long and very sheltered life. TaraSueMe's stories shocked me while educating me on a lifestyle I had never even heard of. And I believe her Dom was on the lighter side of some of the stuff I have read. Oh, I mean studied for educational purposes. And now, look, you can buy this erotica at Walmart. Except 50 Shades of course. That - Walmart pulled.

I like "Live and Let live" but "Don't Worry-Be Happy" works too.

The haters will find something else to hate after we ignore them for a while, and then they will regroup and hit again later.

Well, even though I'm a young 'un by fanfic standards (I only started in 2010) I'm too old for all this drama. LOL! I just want to read.

It's not about the 'pron' content.

It's because women have taken over FanFiction and the old boys don't want us there. They live to agitate, confront and spread hate; they are not writers or supporters.

Focus your complaint to Admin about the fact they are targeting a specific group for a hate campaign. Just because we break the rules, doesn't make what they are doing right.

Deep breath.... and stay calm!

Many members of that group are actually kids who are fans of some video game or something I've never heard of ("We're Warriors!" they proclaim). That's what's sad about all of this.

Even though I have this, I couldn't for the life of me remember who wrote it (novel idea, right - searching through my files??). I remember reading the summary and being curious about it. Now I may have to grab my copy (I refuse to read PDFs and don't know why y'all like them - they're the worst type of file because they don't convert to mobi or epub well (if at all) and the font size appears very small on eReaders) and move up the TBR queue.

She is very articulate, and a nice sound voice of reason. Let the voices of reason be heard! I read Liz and I posted a review of her letter. I certainly hope she gets more support rallied around her letter it's very well written. I've never read any of her work though.

That's why I shared it and encouraged reviews in support. Most who've been censored are spewing vitriol, which is why hers was so refreshing.

Here's Enslaved by Irish Froggy (complete, 32 chapters).

The author's notes indicate that there was a sequel (The Great Escape). I have the prologue through chapter 14. I have no clue if the sequel was ever finished. Anyone have any info? Thanks in advance!

It was at 54 reviews when I last checked, which is pretty impressive for a letter, let along a one-shot! I wish I hadn't refreshed the page because then I would still have it on my screen to cut and paste up here for people to read.
