You can read without becoming a member, but I will find alternatives before going here. I have looked at it the past two days. Website seems down more than it is up, it is still in beta, and forever to get a username and password so we can maybe add favorites? I visited the website after Betti is posting her story their as well in case her's gets pulled. If you are not reading it, I couldn't pimp it enough.

My fav replacemnet site is becoming TWCS. I have been reading a few there that are not posted anywhere else. What I do love is that it allows pics. I love VISUALS with my stories.

Added bonus to TWCS is flag and storymaster still works as well as you can download from the actual site. All these new ones popping up will be awhile before our grabbers will work on them.

I have only ever saved one fic before I found this gem of a place. I found out that there were a lot that I wanted to re read. I may need to start though

Just curious.  I noticed that Jude Devereaux is on this list.  Was she part of FanFiction and if so her pen name?  Or is for protecting her published books.  I have really enjoyed her as a writer since very late 70's but definately since 1981 (pulled one of her earlier books out). Thank you for your time.   Ps... So much love this sight and all the opinions.

same here.  I like ff.  It is easy.    Twilighted is ok.  I always save the stories to text, and then read. TWCS is alright, and they have the harder core stuff.  The Perfect Wife, for instance.  Mostly, I just read stories that are rec'd here, or rec'd by an author I like.   There is no end to Twilight fanfiction.  I could read it constantly for a decade and would never get even near to finishing the stories I want to read.  There are plenty of places to get Twifics - I could boycott ff for years and never run out of stories to read.

Until very recently, you could get a TON of books on the site, but they just changed this policy for the most part. So the opt-out list includes all those from the previous format of the site.
