You're welcome! I just hate the sinking feeling of a beloved fic that goes missing. We have all been there.

Thanks so much Liz & Scarlett, I checked they've been on there for a couple of years so I think it's like Scarlett stated they are saving my faves list. Whew.

Tami, I noticed this happened to me a few years ago too and I still get it now too.  I thought it was weird, but I get PM's all the time asking me for story recs from people I don't know, so I bet it's just those who like your favorites and are too lazy to track anything themselves.   I've also had people favorite me based on reviews!   It's weird, but don't freak out!   

What I have has 9 chapters..not sure if there were any more or not.

My version only has 8 chapters, so yours is more recent.

Does anyone have Unravel me by 107yearoldvirgin, someone on another list is looking for and now it has me curious. I've never heard of it.

Ok pet peeve time!

Something I'm noticing as I'm downloading is authors that don't mark their story as complete when they have actually finished them.

It really gets up my nose!!! I only download complete fics so I've had to start checking the last chapter of every fics I go to download in case it is actually finished. This adds on so much time!!!

I know some authors intend to add an epilogue but then some don't and then they have a fic sitting there with over 1000 reviews since 2010 and I haven't read it because I didn't think it was complete.

OMG! I have the same issue.  Especially when I'm waiting to read something because I hate starting abandoned WIP's.  But then I look and find a "The End" on the last chapter.  AAAAARRRRGGGHHHH.

 

I don't want to talk about multiple pullings of stories because I can't remember when it last updated and it's easier to re-pull it than do a search through all the files (and computers)  I definitely waste too much time on this. 

I'm getting frustrated because fanfic downloader downloaded empty chapters & no author names on a bunch of stories I thought I got. Now I have to go back & refind them to download again   

Also I need a way to stop duplicating downloads.  Lol my ADD doesn't help either. We need to figure a better way to get this all in an organized manner.

Yeah, I've been banned.... oops!

My fault - I would pull by author instead of story. Unlike some of these other ones? It goes through his personal computer and sends the email.  And because it sometimes took days to get the emails, I would forget I requested it & request again.  So I am back to Flag and fanfic downloader.  Actually, Flag gives the best format.

Though I do think he overestimated the stories I pulled.  Most authors only had 5, not 30. So I do not recommend storymaster for mass downloading.
