You are correct. I'm trying to think of a few others...

This is what I figure - you're never going to please everyone, so just stay true to yourself.... but pulling? That goes beyond, IMHO.

My three cents....

Yep, it bugs me when people don't update *points to self as it's been almost a year* I'm annoyed at myself. Pulling though is completely different. Esp when there are readers who review and pimp out the fic and it's gone.

I can understand their feelings. It does feel like FFn slapped them in the face. In 107yrold's case though, if I remember correctly, the last time she pulled was because of RL and spouse problems and she gave us warning plus she left the blog up. Her twitter account is gone also. So I don't know.

Is it hard to get your stuff posted at TWCS?

TWCS is one of the easiest. Extremely user friendly and easy to navigate.

I think you have to go back in and relog onto the system again since they made all these changes. Once I did that I could see everything again.

It took a million attempts for this site to load. Did I miss the note about the site change? I couldn't even remember my login and I could have sworn this thread was up to 260 pages this morning (maybe I'm crazy). I do like the colors though (very calming).

First off, Thank you to everyone on this thread for keeping my fanfic love alive! I lost some really amazing stories through stories being deleted that I found here so the biggest of thanks!!

The only one I'm missing is called Heal Me. Its a Carlisle/Esme story I fell in love with a few years ago. If anyone remembers it let me know!

I saw this tip on a facebook group and wanted to share it, it's pretty cool IMO

You can save external bookmarks on AO3. I just made a couple from my favorites listed on TWCS that weren't on AO3 yet and it works beautifully. It will take you to twcs (or whatever site you linked it to). Kind of a cool way to keep all of your bookmarks from several sites in one place. It works on blogs as well

The new site is all jacked up. We were on page 260 earlier today in the "152 Twilight Fanfics" thread, now we're on 254; I'm finding some posts no longer have attachments; and some posts are in the wrong order or disappear minutes after I saw them. Furthermore, I'm finding that new posts I've tried to make (or edits to previous ones) don't load. Gah! So frustrating!

I'm having a fanfic brain melt searching through TWCS. I have my fingers crossed that fics were updated there but not FF. Esp if they originally posted there then went to FF. So far no luck.

Is that what it's called? "Fanfic brain melt." I thought I was insane. I have almost completely sorted my fic by author name first then title under sub categories with what I have read in a rating system from best to okay. And have approximately 5k. I really think I need some help. Thank God I found this site. I think you are all crazy like me! Maybe this ban will calm me down. Thank you all for the amazing fix. Oh, I meant fics.

You're confused, try being in Australia and figuring it out....I just opted to log off from Thursday (Aussie time) and I'll log back in Monday (Aussie time), that way I should be covered.....

I know. I'm an Aussie too and all this time stuff makes my brain freeze! It's 11 pm on Friday night where I am and I haven't been on since this morning and won't go back until Monday morning. *shrugs* sounds good to me *goes back to being an insomniac and reading PDFs on my phone*

I'm doing the same here in South America. All that diverse information just confused me. But maybe I'll have time to read some of the hundreds of ff's I've gotten from this thread/downloaded via flagfic. Besides all the ebooks I have on my pc as well

At the mo I'm reading 7-9 different ff's and The hunger Games Trilogy, as well as different blogs etc.

Where on earth will I find time for all that extra reading?

It looks like slambrini will not continue writing Model Marriage. Her beta made the announcement earlier today on fb:

To our AMM members & readers ... it's with a heavy heart I tell you Louise won't be re-posting AMM right now. She's had some personal things come up that are going to keep her from being able to write & post fanfiction. This is indefinite, so ... no ... I have no idea when, or if, AMM will re-post

It took some serious talks with her last night to come to this decision. Real life & personal issues will always trump fanfiction in my eyes & right now, this was the only choice that made sense for her.

We're both very sorry it has come to this. We appreciate our faithful readers for your support of AMM, all the great reviews, discussions in our group & the new friends we've made.

This was one of my favorite WIPs so this news is beyond disappointing.
