Yeah, I guess she got a new job that doesn't block her from posting stuff like this.  Sounded kind of strange that a job would tell you you can't post on websites under an assumed name, but whatever.  Maybe she was a spy LOL!  :D

haha! It seems as though maybe fanfiction pissed off some norton employees b/c every story is being blocked lol.

Thank you for those links, Scarlett! I really appreciate that and I'm looking at the web query one now. I just wish there was a way to add in that this particular site is ok but to not have to turn off the safe web feature all together. It's so odd lol

This is why we quit using Norton at my house.  It was blocking everything.  And my husband was constantly yelling at me to fix it.  McAfee was almost as bad.  I use Microsoft's free Security Essentials now and have had very little problems.  Though I also practice (fairly) safe surfing techniques (yes there is a big condom on my computer! - just kidding!)  ;)

Safe surfing is essential.  I haven't tried a computer condom...I wonder if that would keep my son off the cartoon sites that are somewhat p*ornographic?  Or at least keep him safe while he's doing it? LOL

Really funny, we tried Norton and Mcafee and now we are using Kaspersky.  Today Kaspersky is blocking this site as porno, lewd, lascivious and obscene( one of the main reason I read this).
It never did that before.  So either my dh has turned up the parental controls on me or someone is playing  a joke.  Try adjusting the parential controls for your sign-in.  It worked for me.
