I just wanted to post to see if there were any updates/new-5568 info on FFn deleting fics, because I've noticed the archive number for Twilight (as well as some other fandoms) going down in the past few days. I know the Hunger Games community seems to be getting hit pretty hard in terms of popular stories, including ones without any MA content at all, getting removed without warning. Is there any type of effort in different fandoms coming together to do anything about FFn's disregard for authors and their work, or is FFn pretty much ignoring any type of opposition?

Hi guys, new here.  I was on facebook and I ran across a post where somebody was looking for a story and it sounds really good and hopefully somebody here recognises it (nobody has yet to on facebook).

Here's what they wrote: "has any one read a story where bella is like an ancient egyptian vampire? her egyptian name is Nefertari or neferetti. Her an Carlisle have some type of connection that i cant remember. Bella is the 'mother' or 'queen' of the volturi...that probably made no sense....shes an ancient old egyptian vampire that has the weird connection to carlisle. Ummm she plays human and moves to forks (cant remeber why) falls in love with edward, somehow they (all cullens) end up going to volterra. They find out her secret when bella starts back talking the voulturi (aro specifically). They find out shes nefartari or neferetti. I think its a carlisle bella story."

I don't think that is it. I have been reading Dark Goddess by Lissa since it started. Now there is TWO versions and I am only reading one (Bella and Edward together).
My reasons that this is not it, Tanya is the queen of the volturi. Bella was found in South America in a tomb that Edward and Jacob were excavating because they are archaeologist (and professors)...aka Indiana Jones meets twilight vampires. lol. Carlisle is not a character yet in 21 chp. Esme is however Edward's mother.

Originally she was posting the Edward and Bella version on ffn, and the other version on TWCS, but now I think the Edward and Bella version was also put on TWCS with all the ffn scare.

Here is why there is two versions....

"Over the next couple of days, I'll be making some changes to Dark Goddess,. The changes themselves will be relatively minor, but when I'm finished, it will be an Edward/Bella story. The original version will be on The Writer's Coffee Shop.

When I first began this story, I talked it over with my banner maker, the lovely SoapyMayhem. The story was one I've played with in my mind for a few years, changing characters, plot, etc. I had two alternate versions: an Edward/Bella story and a version in which she ended up with both of them. I told Soapy that I was going to go with the latter version.

"Why?" You may ask. Well, I was feeling a little more brave at the time. I figured if I could pull off a story about an alien with a tail, I could probably make this work, too. But I'm not at a point in my life right now where I need any more stress and having unhappy readers causes stress. I've heard the words "hard limit" so many times this week that I feel like I'm reading Fifty Shades. I even toyed with the idea of writing two separate endings that people could choose which they preferred, but then I thought, "Well, hell, why not write two versions of it, and post the E/J/B on TWCS?"

So, here's the plan: The story on FFN will be the Edward/Bella version and the one on TWCS will be the Edward/Bella/Jacob version. Both will follow the same basic story line, but the romance will be different. Those of you who don't have "hard limits" can enjoy both versions."

Try this one - I changed it from my mobi version.  There are funky page numbers, but the quotes look okay
