Hello, all

I know there's already an 'Introduce Yourself' thread up on the main page but I thought I'd put one up here in the Cafe as well (so it's just for us book readers). Please take a moment to drop in and say hi, maybe tell us a little bit about yourself....or just tell us what type of books you like to read.

Hello everyone.

I'm eldest of the three siblings, looves reading which is no surprise since I am here.

I started reading comics (cheap ones which are obsolete nowadays) then moved to Sweet Valley High, Archie Comics, Nancy Drew advanced to Danielle Steel in high school. The list started to grow from there. I'm mostly interested in YA, Fantasy, Historical Romance, Romance, Erotic Romance, Romantic Suspense novels wherein Heros are usually a Navy Seal, Police Officer, Firefighter, FBI agent where he would serve as a protector (its so exciting, makes me giddy!). Anyway, I usually got distracted especially when I browse titles for supposedly my next TBR then I remember that I have to finish my previously read book.

I stumbled upon this site when I was looking for a specific title. I have no troubles seeking hard-to-find titles right now. Its such a treasure! And I can read new authors that I haven't explored yet.

So, I would like to thank everyone who shared all their favorite authors. I may have to check on them these days. I may not have to ran out of books, that's my biggest worry in the past.

Hi I am new to this site which was recommended to me by a friend.

I received an ereader last year as a gift and have found the joy of reading again. My favourite books are mystery and romance and I have just finished most of the Iris Johansen series. If anyone can recommend any books to me, it would be greatly appreciated.

I have found that when I do some searches, I sometimes get an error message. Does anyone have any helpful hints on this? Thanks

hi, i'm a one-month newbie here. i totally love this website.

i hope it stays forever like me staying to love and read books. i'm cyndi. 21. i love anime and manga also. fave author?: phillip pullman, ally condie, fave book?: gone with the wind, hush, hush series, fave quote: "do not go gentle" - quote from MAtched.
i'll be happy if you suggest books for me. yeah... so.. thanks/

Hey Penny! You're here! What do you think of the site? Didn't I tell you it was awesome! The people here are all really nice and if you have any problems or questions, someone is always willing to help out. Glad to see you on board. I gave you a 'thank you' to get you started.
Check out some of Lora Leigh's series, like Elite Ops or Navy Seals. They should be just the type of book you mentioned that you like.
I know you'll love STP!
